Well anyway, aside from all your BS talk i think ima post yesterdays workout :D Went well actually, knees are still feeling a bit funny but its ok.

Session Included: Legs

Squats
1x10 (132lbs)
1x10 (176lbs)
1x10 (220lbs)

Starting to go up now, these were all slightly below parallel, i felt i had really good form and i enjoyed the 220's it f**ked my legs.

Seated Leg Press
1x15 (264lbs)
1x10 (440lbs)
1x8 (484lbs)

On the 484 my right knee felt a bit funny so i stopped there.

Seated Curls
1x15 (70lbs)
2x10 (110lbs)

Seated Calf Raises
3x12

Cardio
10 minutes on running machine

And i also did a few sets of pullups.
 
Yeah for real, that's good stuff. I could easily roll with you on the first 2 sets, but I could never do 10 at 220 pounds. In fact, that's about where my 3-5 rep max is.

Okay, so I worked out yesterday, and it was like a 3 month backwards leap, dunno wtf happened.

Flat DB Press

Those sets with the 80 lb DBs were freakin hard. Forget about touching the next size up...

Squat

This was the real bad part. I didn't even feel crappy or tired when I went in either...ballz.

But now that I'm switching gears into a cut, I'm gonna be doing a lot more running, along with some biking, spinning, swimming, HIIT...mostly running though.

So I ran 2 miles, went slow, took about 20 minutes. I should get better pretty quickly, that's what usually happens. 6.5 mph felt like hell.

Anyway im happy as f**k. Went for a 220 press again and got 1 !!!! Well 1 and like 3 quarters!! So happy, i wasnt sure whether id do it, but i got myself wound up and just pushed the f**ker!

Even getting 8 reps with the 154 after lifting heavy was improvement because usually i wouldnt get 8. I felt on form today. :)

Ive been saying all this year that one big goal of mine is to press a 1RM of 220 by the end of this year, mission accomplished.
 
Nice work man! That is impressive! I think our flat pressing numbers are very very similar. Although I haven't tried to max like that. Kick ass! But yeah, you're right, it definitely feels harder for me to do my lifts now that I'm eating 600 cals less. Sucks! Still had a good day...

Then I ran another 2 miles in about 20 minutes. My body is crazy sore, since I'm not used to running. Going to do spinning today for the first time...weight is already down to 225. I hope I can shed off some fat QUICKLY. I miss bulking already.

I reckon you could beat a 220 max, well in your numbers it will be a 225 anyway. When you can get someone to spot you, go for it :D

My next big leap is a 264lb max. Now that may take another years training yet. Well see.

Yeah dude, my body is pretty crazy, I can pack on weight quickly, and lose it rather quickly too. Hell, earlier this year I was at an all time low of 180, so I'm 45 pounds heavier!

I recommend weighted dips for sure, they are fun. I'm hoping I get better at them as I lose body fat, same with pullups. Ya know, I'm trying a spinning class tonight for the first time, but I might do a max on the bench just to see where I'm at.

Nice goal, 264, always good to have goals. I know you will get there man, you've got the drive to do it!

Thats some serious weight with your lunges. That has to kick your ass big time.

Yeah man, it completely destroys me. The sets with 55 lb DBs (110) aren't too bad, but when I did it with the 65s and 70s, I could barely lunge outta the last couple steps. Brutal!

Today was supposed to have MMaA but we turned up and so did Dave the trainer but he was waiting for somebody to give him his keys back so we could get in. They didn't come so we just had a workout at the gym instead.

Never got 8 reps with 176lbs my best a few weeks ago was 6 i think. Definately progressing. Also im now comfortable with a 1 rep with 220lbs. Im happy :D

Hadnt done them in a while so did them light. Still felt a nice burn though in my quads!
