Still missing some weigh in's today but let me tell ya that from what I see so far, you passed up #2, and #3, on the Individual Biggest Loser Challenge this week. It's you and Mands going for Gold. She is still in the lead, but you are sneaking up!

Go Andy!!! Work it!!

Hi Andy,

I havent been around in a while so just checking in and catching up on how you're doing.

Looks like good progress :) xx

Another good day in the books. Had another green omelette for dinner - loving those things - before my workout, and I think the carbs gave me the energy I needed to do some good work! Sure, I sweat a lot, but I was able to continually demand more energy from my body, and I didn't feel lethargic at all. Gonna have to keep that in the ol' diet rotation! :D

Did my arms, and I'm noticing strength gains. Gonna have to start upping the weight on my curls (both machine AND free weights). Got through 3 sets, but I felt like I could have done more.

Triceps and shoulders exercises felt about right. Really had to push out the last 3 of each set!

Afterwards ran on the treadmill for 1.5 miles before they announced that the Gym was closing for the night (curse you BL for making me watch you till 9!), so I picked it up and went home.

Weigh in shows progress - around 282.00 which puts me....

OVER THE 70LB MARK!

Just another milestone, but I feel like im working harder for each one, so ill celebrate em all! 6 more pounds till my halfway point . Looking to keep it clean today and get some decent cardio in tonight with some sports - either raquetball or basketball! Have a healthy Wednesday everyone!

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for stopping by my diary!

Just curious, what do you put in your green omlettes?

Hiya Risty - Thanks for coming by! :D

3 eggs, steamed broccoli, spinich leaves, bell peppers, ham and cheese.

With all the veggies, the tint is a little.....greenish. Tastes incredible, but it almost looks like a quiche! Been experimenting with salsa too. Can't beat it!

Thursdays - They aren't fridays, but they also aren't wednesdays.

Feels like its been a marathon work week. I think its because I really only do stuff on the weekend, and I'm usually pretty bored sunday - thursday night. Need to find a new hobby I suppose!

Food/water was fine yesterday. My sleep schedule has gotten messed up AGAIN. I have the most uncontrollable craving for a quick nap when I get home, and then I end up staying awake at night. Horrible cycle. Ended up missing my gym because they were closed by the time I ate dinner. Today after work, I plan to grocery shop and clean up the house - anything to stay awake until a normal time. I have a feeling once I go a few hours with keeping busy, the lethargic feeling will pass and I can get to sleep at a normal time.

Weigh in this morning didn't change much, but I also didn't do much, so that makes sense. Still looking to have a stellar 3lb+ week. If I can keep that pace up I should be nearing my goal (200) around my birthday in August. Hell, even if I can be at 220 by that time I would be thrilled.

I glanced at my drivers licsence the other day. I am approaching my old highschool weight. I have ALWAYS been overweight! Can't really imagine how different its going to be to actually live life at a normal BF%.

Ah well, enough rambling for now - until tomorrow!

I'd kill to be my HS weight again..well I will be but you know what I mean. I was around 275 then. Yeah, ok it is still over weight but it's 100 pounds from now so that day will be sweet.

Keep it up Andy. You are kicking ass.

Hey! Your omlette thingy sounds kind of like a frittata! A frittata is an italian type omlette thing which has tons of vegetables... it also look like a quiche but there's no crust like quiche's have. I love when my grandma makes frittata. I don't exactly what veggies she uses though, I think it's basically whatever's in the fridge/garden at the time, lol.

I really hope you'll make your halfway point! I'm really excited for you! Even if you don't hit it this week, you'll hit it next week for sure, so you're really close to it either way! Good luck for making it this week though!

I hear you man. At least I know whenever I get there, I'll never ever EVER let myself lose control again. I honestly think once you realize how much freaking work it is to get back in shape, that extra slice(s) of pizza just isn't worth it haha.

Thanks for the support Jericho, always appreciated!

Ahh ha, good to know! It makes sense someone would have already created what I thought was a personal discovery! :p Yea, I've been eating them for dinner, because the rest of my food doesn't have much fiber in it, that and they're pretty easy to make!

Thanks for stopping by Risty! Can you believe we lost 226lb on the BL challenge? Thats like my original goal weight LOL :D

Frittata was one of the few good things of Ghana... there was this one little cafe and they had the nicest frittata ever... it had everything in it, potato, carrot, courgette, peas... everything... oh so nice!

I am at my high school weight (senior year) I think, but I wanted to be 115-120 back then too... but I just sort of wished a fairy would magically do it, working for it or eating differently was not an option! I want to be 120 because I know for a fact that at 14 (almost 15) I was 125 (and felt overweight but I possibly was shorter than now) and I want to weigh less than I did at 14!

I have my official weigh in tomorrow and I know I have lost nothing (took a pek at the scales just a minute ago), I am so frustrated, such a shitty week! I want to see a 2 pound loss so badly, I want to be under that damn 62 kg mark, be 61.9 even... just udner 62. I have been there for 3 weeks straight (well I was up 2 pounds in the middle) and it sucks! So here is for a better week next week, for a 5 pound loss for ORANGE (3 from you, 2 from me!)!!!!

Camy

Hehe, yeah frittata's are awesome. I should go make one with my grandma so I can see how she does it. I remember when I was younger I didn't appreciate them as much as I do now, lol.

I can't believe we've lost all that weight, imagine what it'll be at the end of the whole thing! Unfortunately I'm not a very big part of that, my weight loss is so slow and twice it's gone up. I mean, it didn't go up A LOT but it was still up. I just hope that it doesn't happen again!

Happy Friday everyone! SO EXCITED FOR THIS WEEKEND!

Had a good day yesterday, had an extra peice of fruit and yogurt for dessert, but I'm not gonna sweat that extra 150-200 calories :p Did my legs at the gym, that felt pretty good. Afterwards I shot around with a buddy. Worked up a light sweat, but didnt really exert myself. Tonight before I go out, gonna squeeze in a decent run.

One of my biggest pet peeves : resting on gym equipment. I swear I did 3 machine cycles while this girl just sat listening to music on this quad machine. A little annoying to say the least! Anyways, rant over.

Gonna keep it clean today food wise. Actually grilled some fish for lunch today, so that will be a nice change from the mundane chicken!

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

LOL, sometimes I would rest on the equipment between sets though which would be 30 secs - 1 min max. But for the most part I would go between 2 machines so I wouldn't do that. I usually only did that if my other machine was taken :)

Depending on the stage of my training i will have rests between 5 and 10 minutes but am happy to have others use the weights during my rests.

Well done with the steady rate of loss :)

Alllllrighty. Had a great weekend, stuck to my diet except for a few extra drinks I relaly didn't need. Even got a great workout in saturday, which is rare, so I'll take it. Yesterday I did my normal monday routine, (weights, running) but I decided to pick up the basketball and work on my ball control and jumpshot. About 20 minutes later, I find myself sharing the court with 5 other guys, who all the sudden think its a GREAT idea to play 3v3! Well, I haven't played bball since the elementry playground days, but they don't let me back out easy! :p

It was SO FUN. And, I was breathing hard the whole time! Talk about making cardio fun! I totally want to get better now, because I could see myself doing this a lot more. Looking back, its funny I never had the interest before. My roomate plays it 3-4 times a week, and we go to a ton of ASU (college) bball games together. Ah well, no time like the present! So, tonight after my legs and running, I plan to go shoot around if there is anyone else on the court, and really just run courts while dribbling if its empty (which it will likely be because its tuesday).

Approaching the halfway point this week! Gotta have a solid 3 pound week to get there.

LETS DO IT!

It's good you have stuff you like to do like bball. It really helps when you like the exercise you're doing that's for sure.

I wish you luck on your 3 lbs you need! You can do it!

We broke the combined 100 pound loss. YEY!!!!!!!!!

We rock Andicakes!!!!! Have a great rest of the week, Camy

Haha totally agree! It makes a WORLD of difference when you aren't thinking about how long its taking.

Thanks for the support! I hope I hit three pounds this week too! :coolgleamA:
