Weigh in 286.2 (+/-.4)(Variant scale is annoying)

Good hard monday workout again. I love walking by a mirror when I have sweated a lot. It makes me feel like I accomplished something, and im not just going through the motions. Weird, I know lol.

Past 2 weeks ive been getting SO lazy midweek! I really want to hit my goal of 5 visits this week, AND no cheating on food until my weekly saturday cheat :p Also, I need to go get food in the worst way. Last night I had to have the ultimate makeshift dinner of half a chicken breast, a can of tuna and steamed califlower(sp?), which I didn't end up eating because it smelled gross :/ MORE REASON to get my butt up and go shopping!

Been eating to the best of my abilities, but last week I allowed too many cheats, and I didnt even make up for it in workouts. Results showed this week. Need to remind myself that the taste of food isn't nearly comparable to the feeling of being fit. Anyways, so far so good this morning, have a nice day everyone!

Had to come by and give you a big congrats! Your 17.8 lb loss in the challenge is amazing!!!

So happy to have someone so motivated in the challenge and setting such a good example.

Thanks! Ive really been pushing myself since the new year started. I can't believe how much CRAP I used to eat! Its one of those hindsight is 20/20 things. At least I know I'll never go down that road again.

And yea, I'm glad I got into this club! Great teammates and competitors have really been a motivator to give that extra effort!

Yeea, its been over a month since that club started, but I am pretty proud of that number :D Still, I haven't reached that first place yet for ANY week, so I plan on kicking it into high gear to compete with these fitness lunatics.

Man, the weather out here in AZ is incredible right now. Sunny, 70 degrees, and really green after the rain we've had. Great time to spend outside, which I plan to take advantage of! :p Anyways, ate a bit more than I usually do yesterday, but im a little worried I haven't been eating enough, and I think my body appreciated the nourishment haha. Dinner last night consisted of a 3 egg omelette and a light yogurt. Easy to make, and it tastes goood.

Made it to the gym after dinner last night. Did my legs. Picked a higher weight than last week on each exercise, and I FELT the burn, especially in my quads. Did 3 x 12, got a light sweat going, and then headed up to the treadmill.

Did 2 miles on 7% incline, and I was sweating the whole way. My HR averaged 150-155 the back half, which is where I am comfortable having it. The last .10 of my second mile, I was feeling really good, even though I was sweating a LOT. Second wind, whatever.

So I picked up the speed and ran hard the rest of it. When I was finished, I think my HR was around 170, and I was out of breath, but I was REALLY proud of myself for making that effort. It felt so good that I think ill make running the end of my treadmill an everyday thing.

Afterwards, had my whey shake with skim. It tastes pretty good, so I use it as a motivator to get to the gym and DO WORK. Its also really refreshing when im trying to cool down at home afterwards.

This morning I was feeling a deep hunger, which I usually dont get in the morning, so I made another omelette. Made it with spinich, ham, bell peppers and shredded chedder. It was REALLY good, and more importantly, its nutritous. I know it will hold me over until my late lunch today. Already on my second water bottle refill, so I think im 60-70oz in for the day.


Tonight its chest/back bleeh. My weakest group of muscles by far. Ah well, gotta strengthen the core, and little visits like this are going to get me there. Have a strong day everyone!

Collectively we have lost 94 pounds so far... let's reach that 100 pound marl (and we will have lost 1 skinny bitch in her entirety!).

I usually make spinach omelette, because I get home by 11ish PM I am not going to cook anything elaborate, so I defrost 100-150 g of frozen spinach, mix in 1 egg and 1 egg white, salt, pepper and chilli (I love chilli!), mix well and put into a small pan with or without a tad of olive oil. Turn after a while and then eat, it comes out like a thick green pancake. I do the same with green asparagus every now and then, but it doesn't work as well, it tends to fall apart and turn into asparagus and egg scramble...
My mom makes the same omelette with chard, but I don't like it that much, you can make it with most anything, broccoli (I should actually try this!) and similar, but leaves will work the best-
I like it because I won't use like 4 eggs for it (my cholesterol is naturally a bit high, my mom's also and she is a 110 pound health nut, so we know it is just a family trait, however I don't want to eat too many eggs a week).

I will slowly work my way through your diary, it may take me a few months though!

I hear ya! You are off to a great start this new year! I always tell myself, I just want to have one new years resolution where I don't need to lose weight as one of them. Hoping for 2011 to be at a normal BMI and stay that way for good!!

100 pounds is RIGHT there! We can totally do it! Like in 1-2 weeks!

Haha I'm not gonna lie, its pretty boring stuff :p Still, I did go over it a few months back, and it was kinda neat to see entries as my weight started to trickle. Lot more journaling to do before I'm all done though!

OK, haven't had a personal entry in a few days. Feels like its been a really busy week - ITS ALREADY FRIDAY! TGIF.

So far this week, ive hit all my planned workouts, and stuck to my diet RELIGIOUSLY. I'm happy I was able to stick with it this week, but for some reason I've found my weight plateauing. =/ Granted, its only been for the past week, but I know my cals are in check, and I know im exercising enough and not overdoing it. So, i'll give it a few more days before I make any changes with my diet to get it moving again. I have a lingering suspicion is has to do with my lack of fiber lately. I've gone from a lot the past month, to a lot less (I got a few different foods this time around). Need to start steaming some veggies with dinner again! That or an ol' fashion side of kidney or black beans with dinner.

On that note, my stomach has been upset all week. Its kind of worrying me, because ive also been really irregular. Not that bad, just a general feeling of uncomfort, and it feels worse about an hour after workouts. It goes away eventually, but its strange stuff. I'm thinking/hoping that by the end of this weekend, I should be back in tip top shape.

Another awesome weekend in the books. Finally beat my plateau. I cut out the fiber pills and whey shakes (lol supps) and between that my stomach doesn't hurt anymore. I also started adding broccoli into my omelettes, so I think thats helping contribute to my fiber. Oh yea, and sunday my body realized it wasn't in pain, and I posted a nice loss. Still, got weigh in tomorrow, so I am gonna work it tonight and get OUT of this 280 teir this week.

Water/food was great overall. I'm a little annoyed with how -much- beer I had this weekend. Man, after a few any decision making goes out the window. Its a good thing there weren't snacks nearby.

Looking to have another strong week! Excited that im back on track!
 
I am so upset, my strained back is impeding me to work out for 3 whole days!!!! Ahhhhhhh, just my luck! I am very upset about letting you and TEAM ORANGE down... I will eat supersqueaky clean to make up for it (just 1200-1300 cals) and hopefully be able to do my classes thrusday and friday. I hate my back!

I am excited to see how much you lost though, I bet it is a ton! And if this one is not, well NEXT week is definitely our week!

Aww thanks for coming by and supporting! Yea, my determination is snowballing, and im more motivated then ever, so I really think its gonna stick this time! :D
 
Brief update. Didnt make it to the gym last night like I wanted. Got caught up in some TV until too late. Instead, my roomate and I went to a local park to shoot some hoops, and really just get out of the house. Surprisingly got in a fair amount of cardio (for just chasing loose balls haha). Still, I want to lift tonight because I havent in a while, and then I think ill jog outside again. Its been really nice at night lately, so gonna try that.

This next week should be a hallmark/milestone week if I do it correctly. Not only will I be approching 70lbs lost (@282), but (optimistcally speaking***) if I somehow had a KILLER week and got to 276, that would be my halfway point to 200! HUGE! Past two weeks ive posted a steady 3 pound loss. So, I dont know if its gonna happen, but im sure as hell gonna go for it! Have a nice Tuesday everyone!
