Weight-Loss Amazing Race Style Challenge

Weight-Loss
I wish my loss was a 4.5 lb one! That would be totally awesome.

WTG ladies on your losses and determination to stick with this challenge! I know it's really upped my exercise enough that my new goal (even after the challenge will be at least 60 min. a day.)

wow, seeing the total pounds lost by all of us is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Great job ladies

I must apologize for making a few errors in my calculations last night. That's what I get for doing it after coming home from the bar tired and slightly buzzed. So, please check out the edited results post from the previous page. It was ABS of Steel who narrowly escaped elimination last week, not the Exercise Bunnies. :) I also added up the Weightloss Warriors' weight incorrectly, putting them in 5th place instead of 3rd. :blush5:

 YAY NO ELIMINATION! And how do we dress up like that 'CREATURE' lol!I must say I luv kiwi so no probs with that!My cals have also been more in the 1,400 range instaed of 1,200 :+) GL LADIES and whats up with the ERROR?Are we still in??

Yes Tam - we were in last place and would have been elliminated if it was an ellimination leg...but it wasnt we and werent and there was just a cpl little errors made - we went from last place to second to last lol...

I don't need to dress up to look like Gollum in the mornings when I see the scales show that my weight is up. You better not see me or talk to me for an hour until I swallow the news. :blush5:

YEAH! I'm loving this kiwi challenge, I'm a FRUIT O HOLIC! LOL ask everyone in my family, either I'm making a HUGE bowl of tossed salad for the week, or a HUGE bowl of fruit salad, Nothing but fruit in my fruit salads, I don't add any creams or sweetner to it, just a ton of chunked up fruit. MMMMMMM I love this bonus week for sure! I wonder if to much kiwi will cause some bathroom issues this week, WOW I better be careful can't have any of that you know. LOL LOL Enjoy your week everyone!!
Hugs and love you you all!
Kim

Week 5 Destination

Week 5—Auckland to Seoul 24hrs 15min. That's 8hrs5 min divided 3 ways.

We’re off to the Land of the Morning Calm (or as I like to call it, the Land of the Morning Traffic Jam, or Land of a man in a little blue truck driving around your apt parking lot at 6am shouting through a megaphone to come out and buy a huge bag of onions for W10,000). :p

This week is a Detour, and here are your options: 1. Eat a live octopus (a Korean delicacy) or 2. Eat every meal with chopsticks. I guarantee you’ll eat less and much more slowly than normal. :)

FYI--if you choose to eat the octopus, beware of the tentacles, as they tend to stick to the roof of your mouth. It's best to swallow them whole like you would an oyster, and then quickly wash down with some water.

*Lives in what is essentially a miniature asia and thus has much chopstick experience. This will be an easy detour ( I'm sorry it's not a roadblock cerella or i'd take it)

the exercise looks .. daunting but can be done.

wow, I have alot chopstick skills and I STILL think this sucks. 8 hrs? OMG

ps I am assuming this chopstick thing is for all things not 'hand eaten' meaning my sandwich etc?

I wish it was too - Thanx Jessica

Every meal? What if it's a bar (protein bar, etc.) or soup? I may just live off soup for the week, I suck at chopsticks. Or...

...there is an awesome chinese restaurant not far from work called Pei Wei and I can just eat something from there all week for lunch. Geez that would be a ton of sodium!!
