All aboard the Fat Loss train!! Choo Choo!!!!

Great job with the run. I love it when you are in the zone and the cardio just seems to fly by. For me the first 5-10 are hell then I get in a groove and the next 30+ minutes are a breeze

I will have to give it a try the deer that is.

Thanks Stingo and Stew. :D

I did think of the interval thing when I was able to increase my speed yesterday at the end. Perhaps I will have to incorporate that into my runs. Thanks for the tip, Stingo!

Stew - yes, by all means, try some. Low fat, high protein, what's not to love! LOL

Just input my food into Sparkpeople and here are my macros for the day, including dinner and post workout snack:

Total Cals: 1762
%Carbs: 38.6
%Fat: 26.7
%Protein: 34.7

Over all, I like it! The cals are on the high side, but still. Fat is lower than protein, and that is the important thing.

for being the fat loss train ya'll talk abotu food alot!! hahahaha

venison is great,, but can be a bit fatty in places.

beef heart rules for pure natural protein,, and the calories burned in chewing are a great bonus!

hey beth

just get yer dang SWEAT ON!!

affectinately

What are the specific foods you are eating? (serious question). You could list the food items and the timing and see if there are any room for improvement or be more specific in your workout routine and see if we can assist ya some where. Just food for thought.

It isnt stuff that will give Beth bad Breath and cause husband sudden Death? (not serious question)

Keep Rocken it!

Stew and Chillen - Perhaps I will start posting my diet. We'll see. LOL

Stew - I don't use anything, to be honest. I heat up the electric skillett and slap them on there. LOL IT takes about 10 - 15 mins to cook and that's it. Hubby likes to use A1 on his. I use Ketchup. LOL It's the only way I can eat it.

So far today, not doing so well. Not eating well and therefore feeling crappy about it, but as I say, if you fall down, pick yourself up again.

Tonight is my long run. Can't wait!!

Stingo, I forgot to say that I did the intervals last night. WOW! It was harder than I expected. But I did it and got it done. :)

I know, I know.... I go shopping for the week tomorrow, so I will be able to get lots of healthy yummy things. And I have decided that once a week, I will try a new recipe. Speaking of which, I need to make out my shopping list.....

The CHOO CHOO is waiting to get back on track. The engine is running full throttle................ROCK IT!!!!!!!!!

Im just teasing..........But........lets get CONTROL GIRL!!!!!!!!

Definately post your diet. Not exact amount but what you ate

That sounds like a great idea trying the new recipe each week. Report back to us so that we know if it is any good or not and worth trying. It will be like "COOKING WITH BETH"

LMAO...Cooking with Beth....hmmm...interesting...LOL I will keep you posted.

I will NOT be posting today's food. Given that AF arrived today for her visit, I tried eating well and you know....it's a monthly thing....I treated myself dammit! LOL

The next few days will be rather hectic, so eating will be interesting. And yeah, I need to get control. I realize that. But just because I fall, doesn't mean I'm a bad person and it doesn't mean that I don't want it as badly as someone else who never treats themselves. (Silent nod to my therapist for that!!)

I can do it and this train will get to the Land of the Toned if I have anything to say about it!! LOL :D

Keep staying positive and try to do your best with the situation at hand. Once thing calm down you will get back on track 100%
But definately COOKIN WITH BETH is a must

Wow, you run? That's all I can think of: Wow. Running is definitely not something I'm good at. If I breathe through my nose I feel like I'm not getting enough air. If I breathe through my mouth, my mouth goes dry. Only time I run is down the hill to my place because it's just fun! Do you have many hills in your run?

Oh yeah, also, curious question (hope it's not personal or taboo to ask) about whether or not your also making your life more active on the whole? It's just that I keep reading books and sites that talk about exercise and diet (all awesomely important things) but don't talk much about other sorts of active 'play' or productive fitness? What I mean is, like I've taken to walking briskly everywhere because I need the extra time (a sign of the latter) and I'm really looking to increase the former.

Just wondering if you're trying to do the same or thought about that heaps. Or perhaps everyone else just automatically knows how to chill out or play in active, rather than sedentary ways, and I'm just a fool!

(sorry about the long, overly curious post).

Playing outside like hiking, water skiing, or football (soccer, or American football), etc are all options. Just have to pick which one(s) you want to do.

Can you buy those strips to stick on your nose that help expand your nasal passage in Australia? I can't remember what they're called but they look a little bit like skinny plasters (band aids)
