Well I got thru Easter Sunday I think pretty good I went to my moms house she cooked bbq brisket and spiral ham with baked beans, potato salad, noodle salad, corn and rolls it was my enjoy day but I kept it at moderation(pat on the back 4 me :)) My Aunt really helped to she just kept the encouragement going and that made me not want to glut. I can feel the changes in me though my mom made me some tea and I was telling her it was too sweet and ended up not drinking it but I used to gulp that stuff down but since drinking water all the time non stop cutting out everything else it made it taste different. I ate my small portions and the took a walk around my moms nice neighborhood I am sooo Happy I have truly been blessed.
 
Good for you !!! Yes its all about modification....when you go out, enjoy but dont over do,...beautiful job.

I am loving your enthusiasm..., it contagious,..your reminding me of how excited I was in the beginning,..I need to the boost.

Just keep at it your doing t-e-r-r-i-f-i-c!!!!!!!
 
Lunch 4oz steak with 1/4 cooked brown rice and 1 cup broccoli

hour workout and hour yoga class(which by the way was hard and I sorta felt out of place :( )

4oz chicken 2 cups of broccoli

Im very tired from workout and stuff barely finished my food I think I will turn in early zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :(
 
I hadn't read your journal yet, but you are inspiring to me too. Congrats on keeping up some semblance of a routine over the holiday weekend. I have been very stressed out lately and haven't been making time to work out like I need to, but you are motivating me to do what I need to do! I agree with Fuunkymonk - your chik-fil-a sandwhich could have been ALOT worse, and it sounds like a great healthy lunch to me. I didn't realize that they had chargrilled chicken breasts! =)

Today got off to a good start with

3 egg whites 1whole egg scrambled with no butter or grease (good thing I have non-stick pans)
1/2 cup of oatmeal with raisins mixed no sugar no butter made with water
2 bottles 16.9 fl oz of water

Snack 10:30am
Myoplex carb sense Protein drink and an fresh apple

Thats if for right now lunch is going to be at 130pm

I just want to say THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH for the support already flowing in. I'm going to be leaving my mark on everyones diary giving encouragement and support. My weigh in dates are going to be on saturdays so my next one is coming 3/26. :)
Hey man.. you do what you can and its all about taking each day at a time..thats what ive found. I have always allowed little things to derail me. God love you for taking care of yourself and puttin you first. Places like this help to know you are sooo not alone.

Tuna wrap (first time I had this its pretty good)

Achievement(pls excuse my spelling) Went fully to water only nothing else. Had a glimpse at the scale today lost that half a lb so now at 289 flat my goal is to be at 285 at my next weigh in which is Sat 4/2 ;)

Please keep me posted on the buddy thing I would really like to do that.

You are doing so well! Your menu looks good, you are drinking water and you are working out. Have you been back to the class at the gym? I know you felt awkward, but do you think you will feel a bit more "at home" the more you go? I don't know, I've never gone to a class. I just know that the more I do an exercise video the better at it I get, so...

arent wraps the best.....i made a huge salad and put some of it in awrap with salsa.....its soooooo yummy.

I sometimes get the low carb wrap,.....about 1.2 the calories.
 
Yes i'm going to try the yoga classes again. My body actually felt good after I got a good nights sleep. I'm also going to try pilates and do some step as well :) Wish me luck(that I don't pass out that is) I'm trying to get some advice on inner thigh specific exercise also for the back(want to start workin on those rolls :eek:)

Those wraps were delicious here is the ingredients and prep if anyone wants it

Feeds 6

1(7oz) or 2 (3oz) tuna flavor fresh pouch (chunk light or albacore)
1/4c Light mayo
1tsp Yellow mustard
1/2c Salsa
1/4c shredded carrots
6 low carb soft tortillas
1 1/2c shredded lettuce
3/4c mild shredded cheddar (I sub'd w/ mozzerella)

Warm tortillas, combine the first 5 ingredients in the order given mix well to create a "tuna salsa" mix. Lay each one of the warmed tortillas on a cutting board. On the center of each torilla, Place an equal protion of the shredded lettuce, tuna mix and top each with a pinch of cheese. Roll tightly and enjoy.

This a really good really quick 5 min meal...ENJOY!!!

Dinner for me tonight is

Salmon and 2 cups steamed broccoli

I had to pull out an old exercise tape today cause it was really rainy :rolleyes: but it worked(sweating like crazy)

Thanks so much Jen I know some of it is that I just started and i'm getting the rapid results but when the going gets tough....(biting nails) As long as I continue to get the encouragement that I receive now I should be fine cause as much as I want to just be lazy and say what the..... I have someone always telling me I look good they can see the difference and keep up the good work. You guys are the best :)

Well today is a beautiful day and is also weigh in day my goal this week was 285 but I weighed in at 286. Not bad though I'm not discouraged. Next weeks goal is 280 I know I can do it.

This one hour forward thing has got me in a bunch plus its ttotm and I feel miserable. (ie bloated and tired) Craving salted snacks really bad.

I haven't even begun on my water just one 16.9fl oz bottle so far...I HATE MONDAYS!!!!! Anyway hope everyone is doing better than I am at the start of this week. :)

Today is much better than yesterday. Yesterday was rough :( I'm feeling alot better ;) got enough rest and back on track.

Dinner I don't know yet probably tuna salad not sure. I'm trying to be strong and not weigh myself until sat. I had to hide the scale my weight is fluctuating due to ttotm. I hope when its over it my weight just drops and take a lil bit more with it... ;) but we will see.

Good for you..you are doing fantastic... I am amazed that w/ eating small meals several times a day im not so hungry..but i also can feel my engine kinda kickin in..I personally have avoided the scale...but im psyched for you!
The last time I looked was during the day w/ clothes on..so it wasnt pretty...but usually my morning naked after peeing wt..is 264. I am going to give myself one more full week and maybe sat ill weigh myself..hey..if your brave..i can be too!
