Fiber for wednesday 6.11- 35 g- ate some dry all bran to get that up there. :)

Exercise for wednesday- 35 min WT 42 on elliptical
1 hour 17 minutes total.

My Food / Drink:
2.5 litres of cold water
some diet cola
3 weetabix, sweetener, 350 ml skimmed milk
Shape no fat yoghurt - strawberry
4 oz ham, cucumber, 1 tomato, celery
chicken breast, cucumber, 2 tomatoes, celery, green pepper, lettuce
1 banana
1 peach
4 plums
2 pears
1 apple
1 kiwi fruit
sugar free jelly (2 sachets)
2 WW sweets (caramel & chocolate melts 68 calories per tube of 10 sweets)

Wow, I'm really appreciating this fibre thing... My body hasn't felt so much like a well-oiled machine in ages!

I am loving every minute of being healthy, it pays off in every way I need. :)

Hi guys! Well, I'm very excited about this week's weigh in. I'm going to still wait until tomorrow to post my stats, just in case tomorrow's weight is lower than today.

I got on the scale this morning and it said 202 - that's 5 lbs. less than last week!

As far as the exercise goes for this week, I spent about 2 hours and 45 min on laundry and housework - and it wasn't just light exercise. So, to account for any breaks I took in between, I'm going to count for an hour and 45 min (105 min). I took the dogs for a nice walk last night - it FINALLY cooled down a bit. So that would bring my total to 145 min. I'm going to get the remaining minutes tonight after work to bring me up to 180 if not a little more. :)

As for food yesterday -

Raisin Bran w/skim milk
Tuscan Pesto Chicken Salad - it was DEEEEEE-LISH! Only 320 calories too - included lettuce, chicken, vinaigrette dressing and aged parm cheese. Very tasty.
Strawberries
Fiber One Bar
Lean Cuisine Panini - Steak and Cheddar w/light mayo
Sun Chips
1 Homemade S'more (I need to get these out of my house so I stop eating them! BUT - did you know that there's 1 gram of Fiber in chocolate???)

Total Fiber for the Day - 30 grams on the dot!

Positive Affirmation for today 6/13 - I am a good employee!

The weigh in I do on Tuesday (also the number I use for this contest) showed a 1.8 loss, which is good enough for me, but the next 2 weeks are going to see me improving and progressing even further!

Again, congrats to you... and everyone else on our team. I really feel like this is making a difference to my life!

One definition of a computer is a speedy moron. I was able to demonstrate the ability to think like a speedy moron - and that actually provided me with a more than decent career!!!

Sorry not been round things to do and work just gets in the way

I have not been eating the 30g fibre only 20g as i found it didnt agree with my IBS ...not good!!!!!
Food has been ok this week had a chinese but was chicken chow main so was a 'healthy' meal considering what i could of had!

Exercise has been good as im in training for the 5k run on 6th july so i know i am getting the hours in there!

Weigh in tomorrow will be the same as last week i think :(
but will weight and see

Hi Sarah, are you doing the London 5K run? I'd love to be able to do something like that (someday!) you're gonna feel so amazing when you've done it!

Im doing Race for life with Tescos its on the 6th July and i am still no where near as fit as what i hoped!!
If i was to swim/ride my bike no problems but running is something i have always had a problem with (set off my asthma attacks everytime) so i never really learnt how to run and breathe at the same time but im learning now lol

Oh i didnt say i got a really nice complement the other day but went so red!!!
One of the consultants in the hospital was ordering controlled drugs from pharmacy and they needed his date of birth so me taking the phone call had to ask so after a min of building up my courage i just blurted it out
"pharmacy are on the phone they need your DOB" relief was fab i asked but then he went really red! stuttered said he had never been asked his DOB by a pretty girl before (my Q to go red) then gave me the DOB but was still speechless
But I got called a pretty girl :hurray: and he wasnt that old either!!!

Not one of my best days because in addition to the above I had an unweighed quantity of cereal that would increase my calories above my comfort zone. I really could not stop nibbling once that mood hit!!!

At least I got my fibre in and hit my normal nutrition / exercise targets.

Yesterday was not a fun day - trying not to let it ruin my week though. It's a new start - AND WE TOOK THE LEAD!

You guys did such a great job last week - none of us had a gain! And we all got our exercise in! So, great job!

I'm going to be choosing the fast food challenge - this is more of a weakness for me than the breakfast - so it will be tough - but I'm determined!

Bonus Challenge for Week Beginning 6/15


Morning guys! Everyone can throw the tomatoes now and tell me what a bad contest host I am! :leaving:

I am so sorry that I didn't post the bonus yesterday - I only had time to jump on for a few min because "life" took over yesterday. So, again, I am so sorry.

So, to make this week's bonus fair, you will have three different bonuses to choose from. YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO ONE!

Here are your choices...

1. Additional exercise challenge. Up your exercise to 1 hour/day for the week - so you will need a total of 6 hours (360 min) by the end of Friday.

2. No FAST FOOD of any kind (not even salads) If its at a fast food restaurant chain, you can't eat it.

3. Eat breakfast every day! (This one is especially difficult for me because I rarely eat breakfast).


So, that's it! Make sure you let your team know which challenge you are going to attempt to do!

Again, sorry for the late post! Hope I didn't screw anyone up!

I usually do all three things anyway so it will not be an issue.

Good job i was good today and had breakfast as i have just remembered to log on for the bonus this week! so forgetful!!!
