Am i right in my working out here

1oz = 30mls

so my weight is 193.4 /2 = 96.7
so thats 96.7 ozs i need to drink each day
Convert into mls is 2901mls (nearly 3 litres)
Is that right?
 
I think that you want to drink nearly 3 litres Sarah. I just did your calculation and got 2859 mls for you (96.7 * 29.5735)ml.

I try to do this every day - and it basically means that I end up drinking 2.5 litres of water.

I have one 1litre bottle and three half litre bottles and I basically fill them up with water each night and put them in the fridge. Then the next day if I drink all my bottles of water I know that I am done. It is easier for me to just round up and drink whole small bottles than mess about trying to measure things.

By the way - congratulation on the new low. The challenge is bringing you luck already!

Morning everyone! Well, we had four people that didn't check in yesterday. Before I make a decision on how to handle that..I'd like your feedback.

Since this isn't an elimination based contest, I'd like to make sure that the teams are even.

So, I could do one of two things...

I could rearrange the teams, or I could wait until midnight tonight for them to post.

The three people that we are still missing are (Ankebuzz just checked in):

I tend to drink between 2-3litres a day in work about 1lt in the gym and then a bit more at home so i should be ok with this one

Just to clarify 1 more thing then i will stop annoying you
weekly weigh ins are on a friday and need to be registered by 12noon est so thats 5pm gmt ???
 
Oh and i would also give till midnight sunday then think about re-arranging the teams

Morning everyone! Well, lovebunchy is the only one that hasn't checked in. Not sure how this is going to effect the points at the end of the week. I don't know why I try to figure this stuff out first thing in the morning when I'm still sleepy.

Any suggestions on this?
 
lovebunchy may well never turn up. She has only ever made one post which was on this thread on 20th May. We all know how easy it is to plan to do something but not quite get around to doing it (I have certainly done this with weightloss so many times it is silly).

It is difficult to see what can be gained by eliminating her at this stage - since she may not have realised that she had to check in this weekend. Eliminating her does not make that team even with the others.

The blue team are already chatting in the thread.

If lovebunchy does turn up you can simply make a note of which page of the thread you need to look at to find her updated scoresheet each week. Everyone else's is on page one of the appropriate thread.

If lovebunchy doesnt turn up you can even things up by dividing blue team points by 5 (to get the average points per person) and then multiplying by 6.

That aside I think that is a good adn really the only right thing to do at this point.
