Weight-Loss 75 Pounds in 2008

Weight-Loss
how do you get your weight ticker to show up on the page?

Welcome bbubbles21

You should be able to copy off the scoresheets that were on the early pages (mine is on page 2). If you remember which page it is on you can edit it when you want to add more weight info.

Things like tickers are explained on the sticky threads that you see. There is one on tickers in the "newcomers" section. I advise you to open one window looking at the sticky thread and have another window where you follow the instructions.

I seem to remember that you can click on someone else's ticker to get to the website where we make them.

Despite my "warning" I was able to keep off the previous 26 and add to it an additional 11. I have to work March 1st so Im weighing in a day early. Congratulations everyone on our successes thus far!!

Way to go Melissa. 37lbs lost so far this year is awesome! Keep up the great work.

Amber, don't worry about maintaining every now and then. Just pick things up a notch now and you'll be on your way to meeting that goal for March.

Welcome to the challenge ttnichols. Good luck in your journey.

Don't worry about the slight gain Angel. You'll turn it around. You're doing great.

Here's my weigh-in:

Start weight (January 1st, 2008)= 160
Goal weight by January 1st, 2009= 125

Updates:
February 1st= 146.1 lbs. (-13.9 lbs)
March 1st= 137.9 lbs. (-8.2 lbs)

Total lost in 2008 - 22.1

Well done everyone.

Angel - it is annoying when you start to use new scales. The weight is just a number. The fact is that you have done lots of exercise and eaten healthily. Your waist is trimmer and your clothes fit better. Your weight loss project is being successful whatever number the new scales want to give to you.

I have updated my record on page 2. I lost 8 pounds during February. It would be nice if I could manage to do the same in March. It might help make up for my slowdown in January.

Hi,
I'd like to jump in at the start of the new month, I just started back on my journal today--I've had some health promblems that's kept me away for about 6 months and I found this challenge and I think it will help me too.

March 1st-- 305 lbs (goal for March is 10 lbs.--295 I'm so ready to get out of the 300's!!)

Since I'm starting two months late,I'll try for 75 pounds(230 by Jan.2009) but I think maybe 250 (lose of 55 lbs.) by Jan. is more real for only 10 months. We will so how things go.

Thanks for letting me join and good luck to everybody in March

Went up half a pound. Definatley didn't do as much as January as I was at the gym 29 times that month, but perhaps keeping most of that 11 pound drop was hard. Let's go March!

For what it's worth I would kill to weigh 187 like I did in high school.

It's been a 21 month process getting me here - and this is what I think I weighed in college -but I know I didn't look this awful :D

When was the last time I posted here .....??? Well it's been a little difficult for me so far, but I am hopeful that things will get better soon. I have been trying my best in light of health problems, but have just been maintaining the same weight...is it a survival / self preservation thing? I have no idea!!! So my apologies for being MIA and a big

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO IS AT GOAL, TO ALL WHO ARE LOSING WEIGHT AND TO ALL WHO ARE HANGING IN THERE!!

You've been trying your best and that's what counts. The weight loss will come. Maybe try changing a few things up a bit to help give it a little kick start. Hope your health issues improve. Just don't give up.
