Weight-Loss 6 Week Goal Challenge Teams, Rules, Reminders

Weight-Loss
Sorry...haven't had time to move week 2 in front of week 1. I will get around to it this weekend. It's been a crazy week at work and in the personal life. I think we can live with scrolling to the right for now until I can set aside a 1/2 hr or so to tinker w/the spreadsheet.

Hope everyone is having a great week!! Stay true to your eating plan and get moving!! OUUUU!!

Either way is fine sweetie :).

Just wanted to say that almost all my information is gone. All my exercise I did in week 1 is gone plus most of the points are gone for my eating for week one as well. Only about 3 days stayed. I don't know what that's about. Also, my starting weight changed to 164 when it was 173. So I'm gonna change that now, but I'm not touching anything else so you guys can take a peek.

I save copies of the file every few days for this very reason. Private message me your personal email address and I can email you the excel file with your week 1 history. :)

Risty, its good that you knew your stats so you could re-input any incorrect data. Anyone can get into the sheet, not just people in the challenge, so who knows what happened on this evil internet.. Please re-update your info and keep us posted if it happens again.

I have back ups of the files that I create every few days so we can keep the history if something goes haywire.

On a different note, for Team #2, I noticed that two members had not entered in "ending weight" for week 1 yet (Angelica and ttmazyck). Are these original team 1 members or newly added members? Either way, I put their starting weight in the week 1 ending weight so we could wrap up that week and see what the team gain/losses were (I highlighted their weight in green as I manually typed it in). Looks like Team 2 lost 58.8 compared to 54.2lbs on Team 1. Pretty close competition!! I love it!!

It's 9:30am California time and I have temporarily locked you all out of the spreadsheet so I can check all the formulas and also move week 2 to the front of the spreadsheet.

One thing I noticed. The "cumulative points" in the front of the workbook is a formula...please do not hard code this number. About 6 of you hard coded 220 instead of letting the formulas work. It is supposed to serve as a running "snapshot" of our points regardless of which week we are in. Make sense? Cool...I'll let you know when the spreadsheet is available again.

File is now shared again. I moved week 2 to the front and checked all the formulas. We should be good to go!!!

I noticed the scores are really close. This is a fabulous competition! I'm so excited that I am going out for a run....OUUU!!

I had mentioned earlier that my info was missing from week one and you said you had backups but the info is still missing. I just put in my points again for week one's eating cause that was all missing, but I cannot remember what exercise I did on what day anymore so I can't put that back in.

Private message me your email address and I'll send you the excel file. I wasn't planning on re-populating it for you. But if you need me to let me know :)

It is not necessary to re-enter your exercise, just enter the actual points if you exercised at least 4 hours in week 1.

Yeah I re-entered the points, so if it's not necessary to add what my actual exercise was then I'm fine with it :D I just thought it had to be there is all.

A question about the water challenge. Do we consider all drinks as part of the water challenge? For instance, I'm supposed to drink 3 l of water a day. Do I count my morning coffee as part of that, or not?

Please everyone check your numbers in the spreadsheet to make sure they are accurate and all information is fully complete.

Where is the water challenge documented? I will copy and paste it into our spreadsheet. I'm short on time today and haven't had time to read through all of the threads.

I will add in Week 3 to the spreadsheet tonight or early tomorrow. I will temporarily "unshare" the file to do this and let you all know.

The water challenge is a bonus for Week 3 worth 5 points.

This week Team 1 had 1 no show and Team 2 had 2 no-shows. I divided the total score by the number of players to arrive at the winning team.

Dum dum dum dummmmmmmmmmm: Team 2 aka Team Sweet Cheeks is the winner! Congratulations!

We will drop the 2 no shows from Team 2 and the 1 no show from Team 1 since its apparent they don't want to participate . From now on all no-shows will be included in the number of team members.

Good luck to both teams on Week 3!

To clarify, Team Tits' no show for this week, ambalove, is also the cumulatively lowest scorer so she will be eliminated. The remainder of Team Sweet Cheeks' no shows will be eliminated now so its going to get hardcore for next week, where all participating players will have the possibility of being eliminated. So get those points people! No slipping or sliding off track!! Wooo hoooooo!

The team with the most remaining players at the end of the challenge (as adjusted for number of eliminated no-shows in Weeks 1 and 2) will get an additional 100 points added to their total scores (made up all of all non-eliminated players points) before it is divided by the number of remaining players. So some added incentive to get our teammates to play along!

There will be a winning team, and the highest scorer from the winning team will be Grand Winner. The team member of the losing team with the highest score will be the Most Valuable Player.

As far as I am concerned, and if anyone thinks differently, speak up...

Water, fluids, yup this all works. I would naturally exclude alcohol, and I'm guessing if most of us are serious here we're probably not drinking high sugar soda, pop, whatever you wanna call it...

I don't think coffee, soda, sobe, kool-aid, and stuff like that should count. I think crystal light and tea are ok because they have a water base and virtually no calories...
