Weight-Loss 3 months till summer challenge

Weight-Loss
I lost 1.1 kg this week.
Unfortunately no more miles for me (could not go out with the babies for the bad weather:willy_nilly:): only 1.7etcetcetc...

Here is my weight and walking info so far:

15th March = 11st 01.0lbs i.e. 155.0 pounds
Goals:
15th April.. = 10st 09.0lbs i.e. 149.0 pounds
15th May.. = 10st 03.0lbs i.e. 143.0 pounds
15th June.. = 09st 11.0lbs i.e. 137.0 pounds

Weigh Ins:
21/03/2008 10st 12.8lbs i.e. 152.8 pounds


Mini challenge - exercise walks
From Mon 17/03/2008 to Sun 23/03/2008 half a bonus point for each mile walked
Mon 17/03/2008 - 7 miles
Tue 18/03/2008 - 7.3 miles (walk 1) + 3 miles (walk 2) = 10.3 miles
Wed 19/03/2008 - 7.7 miles (walk 1) + 3 miles (walk 2) = 10.7 miles
Thu 20/03/2008 - 6.8 miles (walk 1) + 3 miles (walk 2) = 9.8 miles
Fri 21/03/2008 - 6.8 miles (walk 1) + 3 miles (walk 2) = 9.8 miles
Total 47.6 miles
 
I actually gained .5 this week, so I am up to 190.5. Urghh. And I thought I was doing so well.

Does the mile challenge end on Sunday, or on Friday with our weigh in? Well anyway, I'm going to be busy tomorrow with the kids for Easter so I'm pretty sure I won't be walking much. My challenge tomorrow will to leave the jelly beans in peace.

Here are my mile stats for the week:
Tues: 2 miles
Thurs: 2 miles
Fri: 3 miles
Sat: 1 mile

Hey guys--don't feel bad, I think I actually gained as well... :-( I'm not weighing myself until tomorrow after Easter, but it's been tough. I was doing so well the first half of the week, and then I had some stress enter mid-week and BOOM. Calling all sweets! It's so hard for me to not eat when i'm stressed. My hubby and I are working on having a baby, it can be a lot of deal with!

Well good luck everyone, at least Spring Sunshine is coming our way now. No more winter blues.

3/22, 4.3mi over 72minutes in mph = 3.58 mph
Total for the week = 15.7mi

Week 1 Weigh in (3/22) = 215.2lbs (-1.8lbs for the week)
 
Wow! Sounds like you all are doing great! I'm rooting for another successful week for everybody. Good luck and can't wait to see how we all do.

Hey all sorry it took me this long to post...i have been quiet busy..i have been able to read all of your post but that's about it. I am in the works of think up another mini challenge. Sounds like everyone is doing great. I will update the blog as soon as i get the chance. Sorry that i haven't been around...family easter things have gotten me held up for most of the week.

I'm pleased that you are still trying Mermaid. I was beginning to feel a little lonely.

I wonder if there are some others out there.
 
Yay! I lost a pound!!!! I have been working out like mad, but my weight hasn't been budging - maybe I was eating too much. So, I'm glad to report that I'm down a pound. Making a total of 2 lbs off. Not much - but better than nothing.

Current weigh 188

I'm still at it.. slowly but surely i guess...
Though i'm only loosing about 1lb a week.. slow progress is better than no progress...
Down to 214 as of yesterday morning.. was down to 211 last friday AM, but a weekend with my family killed that progress.. damn mystery foods.

I'm kinda bummed that this "challenge" has fallen by the wayside.. ohwell, the only true test is to test thyn own self.
 
Well - there are still at least four of us playing and some more may remember it when they see postings being made in the thread.

No-one gets eliminated from this challenge so anyone can return to the fold.

Jennbabe may have forgotten all about it - or may be struggling with her weightloss project and staying away from the forum. We have all struggled with projects before and can understand how that could happen. She hasnt made any postings since her last one on this thread.

If we dont hear from Jennbabe by tomorrow - I will pick it up and run with it in her absence. It wouldnt have her wonderful website but we can always produce our own table to see how we are doing and we can invent a few mini challenges to keep us involved. Naturally it would be best if she returned to us though.

Omega, thanks for keeping up with this, i was a gnat's eyelash away from "give up" earlier this week, but knowing that there are others to "compete with" kinda makes me wanna keep going...

Glad I did, cuz this morning I was down 3lbs for the week :D (almost back to where I was last Friday AM).
2more lbs before I hit a 2 year low! :hurray:
