Weight-Loss 3 months till summer challenge

So, just curious, are we going to primarily use this thread or the set-up blog to do the challenge? Just want to figure out where we'll be posting everything (sorry I'm a little technology-slow) haha

We'll I figured all of you can post on here...And I will throw everything together into one blog so that we don't have to go through 14 pages to find the one thing that we want.

So if you are weighing in or posting anything that has to deal with the challenge...come here weigh in...Once everyone has weighed in I will take everyone's stats and put it on the blog so that you can see it right away rather than looking through 14 pages to find the one post you are looking for.

I'm using the blog to keep all of you up to date on who is in the lead, and I also would like to do a weekly tip or idea. I just think it would be easier to find something through the blog rather than on the thread...although you can use the thread..it's just something I thought would be fun. If it gets to confusing I will just pick one or the other. But thanks for asking...I'm sure your not the only one wondering about it :D

March 15-April 15: I would like to lose 7 lbs.
April 15-May 15: I would like to lose 7 lbs.
May 15-June 15: I would like to lose 7 lbs.

Weigh in March 15th: 151 lbs

What a great idea. This is going to be fun and challenging. It is very hard to be on a diet by yourself. All my friends and family are skinny. :grouphug:

So, I'm new here, but I have a wedding that i need NOT to be the fat groom at in July, so this sounds like the perfect ramp up for my weight loss strategy. SIGN ME UP (plx).

Teams: I'm partial to team motivation myself; The "group effort" pressure and competition I hope will keep me focused.
Goals: A weekly Team goal AND a Personal Goal will be helpful to both the individual contributer and the team focused individual.
example: Weekly Percentage weight loss goals for the individual, and a Number loss for the group ((total starting weight of the group)/(Number of group members))*(.005) = Group Weekly Lbs Loss Goal

Well... thats my 0.02 for now.

i am in a hurry but i did get a chance to check out the blog!!!

And ... OMGosh i totally love the point A to Point B idea.... maybe you could do points like for every 50 pushups/situps you do you get a point...

Glad to have you. Looks like we are doing idividuals instead of teams. We might do a team thing for a mini challenge. Thanks for the ideas. I will definately look into the % loss.
 
this sounds great! I am soooo in!!! Well, it starts in three days!

I'm excited! This should give me the push I need to battle with the sudden vorasciousness of my appetite lately!

hmm that is odd...have you made sure that you were logged in? I also know that every once in a great while the website is down and won't let you do anything. i know it was giving me problems last night.
