Well, seems I'm the first one to post the weight and goals...It's midnight here in Italy, so it's officially march 15!

Weight today: 72.5 kg. (= 159.8 lb)
Goal for 15 april:70 kg. (= 154.3 lb)
Goal for 15 may:68 kg. (= 149.9 lb)
Goal for 15 june:66 kg. (= 145.5 lb)

Ok, weighed in today at 224 :( SOOO ready to get this weight off!!

okay then-i'm always lucky to lose a pound a week so..

15th March = 161.2
15th April = 157.2
15th May = 153.2
15th June = 149.2 - can't wait for that!

06/15/2008: 185 Will be my first time under 190 in 9 years.

Week 1 Weigh in (3/22) = 215.2lbs (-1.8lbs for the week)
Week 2 Weigh in (3/29) = 213.6lbs (-1.6lbs for the week)
Week 3 Weigh in (4/05) = ???.?lbs (unknown - bad eating with family weekend)
Week 4 Weigh in (4/12) = 211.8lbs (-1.8lbs since last weigh-in)

At some point around when the weather gets nicer here in NewEngland (and I'm closer to 200) I might wanna start the CouchTo5k program; so I'll be on the lookout for others starting around that time too.

Week1 MiniChallenge Walking (Distance):
3/17, 2.0 mi
3/18, 2.0mi over 28minutes in mph = 4.28 mph
3/19, 2.0mi over 33minutes in mph = 3.64 mph in the rain
3/20, 3.4mi over 50minutes in mph = 4.08 mph
3/21, 2.0mi
3/22, 4.3mi over 72minutes in mph = 3.58 mph
Total for the week = 15.7mi

Thu 20/03/2008 - 6.8 miles (walk 1) + 3 miles (walk 2) = 9.8 miles
Fri 21/03/2008 - 6.8 miles (walk 1) + 3 miles (walk 2) = 9.8 miles

Sorry for being a little late. Here are my weigh ins. i usually weigh in on thursdays so I will use those numbers for the challenge.

starting weight: 80 kg i.e. 176.3 lbs
march goal: 79 kg i.e.174.1 lbs
april goal: 77 kg i.e. 169.7 lbs
may goal: 74.5 i.e. 164.2 lbs
june 15 goal: 73.5 i.e. 162 lbs
 
Beginning!

Hey guys--sorry I am a day late also. I couldn't weigh-in yesterday because we were up with St. Patty's festivities! (the beer and food consumption would not have made it accurate)

As of today here are my stats:

Starting: 155.7

Goals

3/15-4/15: 148.0
4/14-5/15: 140.0
5/15-6/15: 133.0


Final Goal weight: 133.0

Those are my "hopefulls" I have been off with a knee injury and in recovery for the past two months. My problem is that I continued to eat as if I was working out or somewhat active like I was before. I've put on about 10 pounds in the past 2 months. So, I hope to get to 145.0, at least then I would be able to fit into my clothes for summer. Right now NOTHING fits and that's an awful feeling. If I made it to 135.0... I don't know, that would just be the best gift to begin summer. I would be so thankful. It's been a long time since I've seen 135.0 though... :ack2:

My biggest problem...I always have liked food! I'm going to really try to cut back on my eating junk food and processed sugars. I also eat way too late at night. Along with that, I am permitted to begin exercising (non impact only) again! I can only do about 30 minutes a day until the knee is strong again, so please bare with me. I'm going to need lots of support with the eating! (well I guess technically NOT EATING) haha.

Also--are we doing beginning/after photos? Just wondering...

I had surgery on my knee a little over 3 months ago. All is well with it now. I still can't do certain things with it but i now can finally get back to my norm.

You can post your before and after photos if you want. Not everyone wants to do it but your are more than welcome to. It's not maditory. I will post my pics here soon...been kinda busy with studying for my finals i have on monday and tuesday.

Yes. I will let you join. I know the site was having problems on my end too. Just post your stats/goals and check out the blog.

We have a total of 21 challengers signed up. Of that 21 challengers only 13 have posted their stats/goals. I understand that it is a weekend and the forum is slow on the weekends. I will give all of those signed up through this next week to post their stats so that I really know who is apart of this. At the end of the week those who haven't posted will be put in a holding block. And will be either out of the challenge or will be a week out of the challenge or so on.

I hate having to think to have to place people out of the challenge but I do need to know who is participating and who isn't. PM me or post on here or the blog if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
