20lbs or less club

I have a friend who's a dancer and if she stretches every day she doesn't get any more flexible, but if she leaves a day in between she notices it. I suppose pilates is similar.

hmm thats interesting.. i will have to remember that.. i try to do yoga everyday just to become flexible.. maybe i'll slow that down.

I'm in the "weigh yourself everyday" club.. and just wanted to announce a little achievement for myself. I weighed in at 129lbs! Something I haven't been at in about 3-4 years!!! So I am very excited.. and just wanted to let yall know that anyone can do it!! Just keep on keepin on.. 14 lbs to go!

Hey all,
seems everyone is doing great. I had a bad week last week and I gained back some pounds :( I was working way too much and it was the last week of school so when I'd finally get home after school and work I'd pig out. Don't even get me started on Easter... Anyways I'm back with a vengence.
 
Well ... I went to the families easter party.. woke up this morning and gained 1 pound.. this week my hope is to do a one step back and two steps forward!

can i join the club?? i've been around 130 all my life (i'm 22 years old) and i've never had to really lose weight... (i'm 5'5)... but my weight keeps fluctuating and i'm up and down all the time...

i'm what you might call a "skinny chubby person"..lol... i'm thin, but i'm all flab and fat... no muscle whatsoever... i've NEVER exercised before... and i'm a little disheartened because everyone on here seems to have done some sort of exercise before..!! i feel like i'll never get into the swing of things... because i'm very inconsistent.. i'll go to the gym 3 times one week, and the next week not at all... i look at people in the gym, or even pictures of people on website who've reached their goals, and i wonder are there any people out there like me?? lol...

i'd love to hear about all of your experiences when it comes to being new to exercise... how did you stay motivated?? how did you make it a habit to work out consistently....

i just need to hear some real live success stories... i see tons about people who've lost 100's of pounds, but i'd like to hear 10-20 pound success stories!!!!

please shed some light for this brand spankin' new exerciser!!

hey there everyone! I was around here like two months ago, but got busy with school and life and everything. But i need to get back into the swing of things and really do this. I have 22 lbs left to lose now... gained a few on vacation =( but I am ready to make it happen!!!!

I've already gotten my exercise in for today. I just need to plan on getting up half an hour early each day and walk. Its not that big of a deal and really it is so beautiful outside!!!
 
Hey everyone...sorry i haven't been very active in this thread. I hope everyone has been successful! I'm officially weighing in on Saturday and I hope I can see a number in the 140's. I've been under a lot of stress lately so even maintaining would be good (I think I have).

I'm still here! Update on me...

Sorry I haven't been posting. I just haven't made any progress lately weight-wise. I can however tell a few pants/jeans are fitting better and I'm very happy about that. 6's used to be baggy on me.. and for them to get tight and start not looking right.. is not fun! :eek: What really stinks is 8's didn't fit right either. I hate being in between, but now I feel like I'm a true 6 again.


I'm hoping to start making more progress and stop dinking around. I've flucuated quite a bit, but I'm hoping to monitor portions and get more water in... that'll minimize the ups and downs for sure. I'll post more too!

Hope everyone is doing ok! Is it really mid-April?! Time is flying!
 
Hi everyone. Looks like everyone is staying busy! Me too. I just thought I would update. I have lost 8.6 Lbs! Down to 128 today.. and that means just 13 Lbs to go!!! I feel so good.. but I haven't seen a huge change in clothing.. Wed. is my weigh in day and it will mark 1 month since I started. I will post pictures and we'll see how i've changed. Good luck everyone! And keep on keepin on!!

It's been pretty quiet around here... hope everyone is doing good. I'm finally starting to see some progress and it feels great!

It's amazing what several months of exercise.. more water.. and better eating can do. :D
 
Hey guys im new to this forum well im 5'9 and weigh 137 and i would like to weigh around 115. Does anyone have any advice on how to lose weight quick
 
Is anyone still out there?

I'm still not giving up.. although this has been tough for me and is taking longer than I wanted by far. It's just not easy for me. I'm hoping to post an update soon and hopefully share in some success with you all.
