World's Friendliest Countries

Ah, this is a survey for easiest places for ex-pats to settle. I was wondering why the UK are up there. Americans should be right at home here, we speak the same language, sell doughnuts by the bag, have a McDonalds and Starbucks on every corner and all your favourite TV shows on satellite TV

Now I come to think about it, I’ve never seen a slim American in person

sign me up for a bag of doughnuts.
But we do have better oral hygiene over here. :action4:

Haha, I can't argue with that, I have to have a tooth extracted next week so I'm in no position to defend myself.

Actually, I met Bruce Willis once, he was a bit podgy at the time but certainly not fat so he counts as a 'low-fat yank'

But even that depends on geographical location. I've seen plenty of toothless yanks as well. LOL

I think a lot of Americans are just putting on fat suits as an elaborate practical joke on the rest of the world.

Either that or they all want one of the ‘lard-ass’ buggies American use to drive round grocery stores

LOLOLOL the ones that people use because they are too lazy to walk?

Wtf? What about The Netherlands? The people there were so unbelievably helpful and nice I thought I was on a another planet.

Yeah, that's why Canada was #1. If you can speak English, have a degree, and can work, the immigration department doesn't want you.

However, if you have no identification, a criminal record, can't speak English and have no intention of ever learning it, come on in :D We'll even pay for your health insurance, give you free clothing, and put you up in some digs until you find a place to live.

I've never seen a slim American in person, either.

EDIT: Apparently my brain is frozen. Oh yes I have seen fit Americans. How about the Chippendale dancers? And the guys in Vegas? In fact, I've seen a lot of pretty buff Americans. I think they're all on this forum, though :D

pphissh... my state is considered one of the fattest state in the country, and it is quite true
fatty foods+extremely laid back lifestyle/philosophy=fat people
not to mention dueling banjos...
