Weight-Loss WL competition: TEAM VICTORY

Weight-Loss
sorry guys..my weight has been pretty wacky. It went as high as 367 then back to 363 today. I think it has something to do with some higher than average salt intake..but I have to be honest and state my number.

Well done. You did well. You got some brilliant weight loss. :hurray:

Hello Team :) Sorry I haven't been online much. I am starting to feel better. I want to feel well enough so I can get my exercise on track, then I'll be good to go.

I drank my 64ozs of water today. How did everyone else do with their water intake today? We can do this team!!! :hurray:

Hey mac5! I almost made it with water yesterday. I drank 56oz but fell asleep before the last cup! Going strong today.

Sorry guys haven't been on since Friday
Well done to all doing a fantastic job

Water challenge for me will be easy I drink at least 3 ltrs a day :) keep up the great work :)

how do you do it Tasha? I am coming close to 64oz but I never make it...much less 3 litres! Did 48oz. Today was an awesome day for me so far as exercise is concerned...strength training and cardio. Ate pretty well too :D I will definitely not be the smallest loser next week!

Xenon - Well done for eating well and having awesome exercise days... keep trying with the water. Everyone has difficulty drinking it at first - but it is well worth struggling with it... Believe it or not - Korrie is being nice in asking us to drink just 64 ounces. I have been in a lot of challenges where the requirement was to drink 1 ounce per 2 pounds of weight which is the recommendation of the International Sports Medecine institute. That can end up calculating out at quite a lot if we have some weight to lose!!! I know that I was in denial and still drinking the amount associated with my goal weight until a couple of weeks ago... I didnt like increasing it at all... Challenges are a good way of adopting new healthy habits... I know that Rod was told that the fact that he hadnt been drinking enough water for his size was a contributory factor in him developing kidney problems... If you keep trying hard you can do it... As a bonus it really helps to flush away any sodium water retention.

Tasha - You are doing a brilliant job there.

Its good that you are feeling a bit better. I hope that you are soon fully recovered.
Well done for drinking your water... It is not easy until you get used to doing it... It is still a bit tricky for me as I have just increased my quantities... The last half litre is a struggle for me... Luckily the first 2 litres is no real bother so the amount for the challenge is good...

Tasha and Xenon - you're both doing GREAT!!!
My eating was on track today. I drank my 64oz for the 2nd day in a row. But still didn't exercise. We can do it!!!

If all 5 members of team VICTORY drink their water - their points will be the same as if 7 people had got their water points...

Ha! I wouldn't do that...I would probably drown lol

Great mac5...so lets make a deal...I get my water in today and you get at least 1 exercise point in today. What do you think about that?

LOL Remember that I used to be bigger than you - so know exactly what you mean...... :eek2:

It is always worth bearing that calculation in mind to give an idea of something to aim for... It can be very easy to think "my goodness - that would be too much for anyone"...

I drink my water in half litre bottles as the easiest way to count how much I have had... As I lost weight I celebrated all sorts of milestones associated with how much weight I had lost... Among my milestones I always celebrated getting to the weights where I would need to drink one less bottle of water every day...

Your deal sounds an excellent idea...

Remember (if mac doesnt get back to you straight away) you can always keep up with me and only do your exercise or drink your water if I do mine... I'm sure that you want to do as much exercise as this 53 year old... :)

lolll I can see how this would be a great milestone. Maybe I'll try this one day just for the fun of it haha, but first I will check out the symptoms of drowning :) At my weight, this would be equivalent to the volume of blood in my body lololl

You must be a pretty hot 53 year old, Omega ;)
