Why do you all weigh everyday?

For some of us, seeing how we're doing from day to day helps keep us focused.

10th- 140 well, at least it's a change.
11th- 138.4
12th- 139.4
13th- 139.8 So much for my plan to lose a lb this week.:rotflmao:

Well I am actually on LA weight loss as well as excerising every day!
 
OK, new start in September of this everyday job! :D May it will be a good month for all of us :)

September 1 - 85.8 kg./188.8 lbs.
September 2 - 86.1 kg./189.4 lbs. - I don't know why. My period is due in several days so it is very upseting if the bloating and water retension already have started.
September 3 - 85.8 kg./188.8 lbs.
September 4 - 86.5 kg./190.3 lbs. - :cry: Well, I had an Indian meal with a desert at the end X 2 times :eek: and a glass of wine. And the result is here!
September 5 - 86.2 kg./189.6 lbs.
September 6 - 86.3 kg./189.9 lbs. - Apple pie with custard.
September 7 - 86.0 kg./189.2 lbs.
September 8 - 85.6 kg./188.3 lbs.
September 9 - 85.2 kg./187.4 lbs.
September 10 - 85.5 kg./188.1 lbs. - I did it again: 2 helpings of the desert - 1 Tiramisu cake and 1 Raspberry cheesecake with cream.
September 11 - 84.9 kg./186.8 lbs.
September 12 - 84.9 kg./186.8 lbs. - I ate an ice cream. :(
September 13 - 84.2 kg./185.2 lbs.
September 14 - 84.8 kg./186.6 lbs. - one glass of wine, half garlic bread for starter, half portion pasta, half pizza, salad... ohh it was nice...
 
I weigh everyday too. I got to 152 last week and then the next day back to 154 GRR. Then the next day 155 and now back to 154. I don't really know what happened either, I know I did not eat enough to gain 3 pounds in over a few days.

Today's weight was 154.6
 
Why do we weigh everyday? Well why not I ask? It takes seconds and its interesting if one of your daily focuses is trying to lose weight. Nothing to be afraid of! It is totally normal to fluctuate around 3 pounds and it doesn't matter WHAT you do, its just how the body works. So people need to stop worrying about the upward fluctuations when they know they are doing well overall on their eating and exercise plans, right?! If you're really in a calorie deficit (meaning you counted your cals properly), then yes, there is no possible way you gained 3 pounds of fat overnight. As long as the scale is steadily and consistently, over time, going down then it means things are going right. As for me, I've been vacationing in Plateausville all summer long! Drat :rolleyes:

its been a while since i posted but weighed my self this morning and im 279.4 yeah me finally below 280
