I know rimadyl is a lot cheaper than that, and its give orally not an injection. However I have no idea which works best. Good that you are doing something. For his arthritis he's on a monthly jab of a quite new drug called Librela. It's mega safe, much more safe/no side effects when compared to the usual treatments. It's effective too. he's deffo better on his leg now (but not cured ofc). it's costing me £77 per monthly jab so not cheap
My ~5 year old dog did that a few months ago, and the car was moving even faster. She did injure her leg, vet said it was soft tissue and would heal on its own. Had her on the rimadyl for a month after. Seems she couldn't resist a pair of poodles... Now we roll the window up when she's riding.Tyke jumped out my car window once when he was young, we were doing about 15 mph!
