I'm fairly certain that this was the first week since I came here (July 11th) that I've lost less than 1% of my body weight for any given week. I'm told that .5%-1.0% is ideal, and this week was 0.69%. Perhaps the latest calorie increase (it's the second significant one in the last 2 1/2 months) has me where I need to be. I'm in no particular hurry. I have a HM race on November 12th and it'd be nice to be at/near my final "idea" weight then, but I'm ok if I'm not, and I'm not all that certain what that number even is. I don't have a specific goal weight, as I've been lifting weights regularly for nearly a year and have definitely added muscle mass. My best guess would be around 170, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's anywhere in the 160-175 range. At this point my plan is to go into maintenance either when my belly stops pooching out too much, or after the HM, whichever comes first.
you are doing really well. best wishes on your training and up coming race. Interesting about the body percent. I'm about -0.77 per week on the average.
