The weather has been super nice so I've been doing a lot more outdoor cardio and, unfortunately, very little (indoor) strength training. I blame the later on the recent stagnation in body fat percentage despite hitting new lows on my weight pretty consistently the last ~10 days. I'll be taking the day off running/cycling and will instead emphasize some low-rep strength exercises this afternoon...

I wasn't surprised to see weight and BF jump today because yesterday I switched from an ACE inhibitor + diuretic combo pill for blood pressure to just the ACE inhibitor so gaining some water weight is to be expected. On the plus side, I felt better than ever on my run this morning and had an 11'21" pace on my 3rd mile (averaged 12'14" for 3.25 miles). This could just be a coincidence or psychological placebo, but I have read about how diuretics negatively affect performance in endurance athletes...
 
Err, I am sure you are right, just water weight, it will be gone soon enough.

My post surgical gain seems to be finally going away, it was stubborn. Posting here and advice from y'all helped calm me about it, and stay the course. Thanks!
