You seem to be doing well Anna ^_^

Hi Emerald, yes I seem to have my second wind (sorta speak), I seem to be going full speed again. My goal is to get to 145 in the nude and at one point my goal was to even try for 135, but I haven't made it to 145 yet, lol. I really don't desire to loose a lot of weight. Just stay healthy and not gain. But as you have seen in the past and even now my weight elevates fast. :smash: Glad to see you again!

I feel disappointed, the last 5 months i gain 13 pounds. Although i go to the gym these months more regularly than before i have gained a lot more pounds. I think that exercising adds some more pounds. The other reason i think about this change is that these months i have had a lot more stress than before. The difference in my diet is that although before i didn't usually eat anything for breakfast until noon, now i eat a little until noon, in the evening now i don't usually eat. Should i reduce the amount of food i am taking? Is there a possibility that i take more calories from food than i should take? Or is the impact of stress that makes all of this? I am very confused.

I have heard you do gain muscle when exercising.

But don't be disappointed! You may be just eating the wrong foods. Try drinking at least 64 oz of water a day and cut out the junk. Snack on fruit! I was having a hard time losing, but I forgot to drink my water. I walk two miles a day, I did go to the gym, but not going now. I eat breakfast to give me energy through the day. I will have a little something at lunch to hold me over till supper (my last meal), think portion size. My weight is 149 to day. I have been trying for months to get to 145. Your body needs healthy food. I was told if a woman goes under 1200 calories a day she will get sick. My weight watchers points don't give me enough calories, so I have been eating more fruit. I lost a little since yesterday, but not much and that is ok. I don't need to lose fast! What I ate yesterday and I lost .6 lbs.

1 Granola bar with my coffee (Great Value variety pack)
2 slice 35 cal toast w crock butter

snack 2 wedges of seedless w melon

Lunch 1peach with 1/2 cup (GV cottage cheese)

Supper 1 boneless chicken breast as big as my fist, 1 slice of 35 cal bread (white wheat), 1 cup of green beans (flesh cooked), 1 corn on cob, two young sm potatoes (stir fry in a little C butter with veg. seasoning).

Snack 1 cup of sugar free vanilla pudding (pudding variety packs from Walmarts).

I had 1 point left last night before I went to bed and I felted I needed to use it, so I ate 4 One's and that did the trick! I had 2 cups of coffee yesterday morning and 3 20 oz water. And this morning I weight 149.

Eat healthy at least 3 times a day (everyone should have something for breakfast), try a granola bar Or a banana. Watch your portion size and cut out candy, chips, cakes, cookies etc.

Good Luck to you and but on a :)

ABY, you are unlikely to be gaining muscle from exercising if you're not eating much, and even if you are it takes a long, long time to build muscle so even more unlikely.

Not eating enough for your current size and not eating regularly enough will both cause problems for sustainable weight loss. If you are confused getting some competent guidance will be the best way as there is so much conflicting information out there. Most of it works for some people, some of the time. What does work only works until you've adapted and then you plateau. Finding what you can sustain on an incremental basis that works for you is the way to go, and it looks to me like you need some direct support to do this.

That sounds like good advice, for me I just cut back, not out and exercise :waving:

I think posting my weight here will really be a motivator, so I'm going to start off tomorrow morning. I hear it's best to weight yourself in the morning because that is the lightest you'll be for the whole day.

p.s. I'm loving this site and all the encouragement that comes with it! Thank you everyone for making this place possible!!

Wow, great job FMK. I like how whenever you tended to gain some weight, you'd come back and lose 2 or more lbs. Great job at sticking with it!

Weighing yourself every day is much more often than is likely to be necessary to see improvement and can cause anxiety if progress isn't there daily. On the other hand, if it keeps you as an individual motivated then fine.

As far as weighing first thing goes FleurDeLis, it is the lightest you'll be but that's not the reason for recommending it, it's the best time to get a consistent and comparable reading. On our programme we actually provide guidance on how to weigh yourself with the best accuracy for comparison as we know bogus results can cause such frustration and despair with some people it can undermine their mentality and progress.

Yeah, those were typically my "a little free with the salt" days. Seeing that rise, though, tends to kick me into gear. :biggrinjester:
