First off, RELAX. You didn't gain all of the weight overnight, and it's not going to come off that fast either. Patience is your friend. Now, are you drinking enough water? Eating enough? (Yes, I said enough.) Working out too much? Getting enough sleep? Did you have a salty meal? Is it that time of the month? There are a million things that affect your day-to-day weight. However, if you maintain a healthy diet and exercise plan, the weight will eventually come off and stay off. If I were you, I would take a deep breath, have a glass of water, a healthy snack, and kick my husband in the a**. He sounds like a jerk.

Thanks for the encouragement, Blackwdw. I've been averaging 6 glasses of water a day - maybe I need to up my intake. Everything else seems to be okay. 1,200 calories isn't my usual daily intake, I try to keep it around 1,500 because I exercise 6-7 days a week and don't want my body to think it should be in starvation mode.

As for my husband, he's usually not so clueless. :eek: I think he said that to motivate me to do more exercise (nevermind how that not the way to motivate me, lol). Ever since the Biggest Loser TV show started airing and we watched it, he thinks that if I'm not training twice a day for hours like those contestants were, then I'm not trying hard enough. Easy enough for those contestants - they were living in a bubble while they lost the weight.

Jan. 21 -213.2!!! WOW it moved a tiny bit, however, it is time of month and my eating was bad on Friday and better yesturday however I had a piece of bday cake and a donut...weight loss is so strange and frustrating...
 
Want to start this club!

Hi..I weigh myself everday also. I have weighed the same now for a month due to the fact I had to have foot surgary and I have a pinced nerve in my back which limit how much I can walk on my treadmill. I will be able to get back on my treadmill in about 2 weeks. I will be glad to do this so I can start losing again. I still have about 10 to 15 lbs to my goal weight. So..I am 160 right now today. Will try to check in everyday. Oh..and it does vary everyday due to fluid flucations.

Weight Loss - Gain...

G'day All... I am alittle confused.. After the last couple of weeks, of excercing every second I get.. whether it's stairs (running up and down) or doing situps.. or curls with books.. whatever it is.. But every free second I try to do a excercise.. Even driving.. I have a 2lb weight in the car.. I do curls.. But I started excecising a week ago last friday.. (been doing stairs since I quit smoking November 8th 2006) Anyways I weighed myself week ago friday.. I was 220 pounds.. then I weighed myself the following monday.. 231 pounds.. and then just this last friday.. I weighed in at 241.. Nothing is tight on me.. (checked 2 different scales, exact same numbers for weighing in on) Just a little confused in all this.. Don't have a lot of weight on me.. Basically all in my stomach..and that is where I want to loose it.. think I am too old to have a 6 pack.. but like a smaller tummy.. :rolleyes:
