Vic’s Weight Loss

Well it had an accident on the highway so I had to wait in traffic for 2 hours. I was too tired to go back to the gym.

Dinner was steak and steamed cabbage, mushrooms, and red onions with avocado.

So only one meal for today. Can’t wait to check my weight tomorrow.
 
Two hours stuck in traffic would leave anyone tired! Best wishes for tomorrow's weight.
 
So at 149.6 lbs. 7 lbs lost since May 5th when I left St. Croix. I plan on losing 5 more lbs before June starts!!!

So decided not to go to the gym this morning.
I have an appt for my roof leak today. After I’ll go to the gym.
For my breakfast at 2 I’m having chia, hemp, and flax seed with almond milk. Dinner is going to be Chinese fast food teriyaki sticks that my brother bought yesterday. Maybe with steamed vegetables that I will make.
 
I went to the gym and did 60 min on the treadmill on an incline. I also did some ab work and strength trained my upper body.

Today I’m eating only one meal at about 7. I’m going to eat Chinese beef teriyaki sticks and steamed vegetables.
 
I’m also having a big salad of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, garbanzo beans, and beets. Also with a boiled egg.

I went to the gym with my sister and did 30 min on the arc trainer.

I went to the gym early this morning and did an hour on the treadmill on an incline. I also did some bench press.

Plan on eating deli ham and romaine lettuce taco with spicy mustard at 2. Dinner at 7 will be shrimp and steamed vegetables.

I plan on walking after my lunch. Maybe hike around the lake
 
Well in addition to my taco. I had a bowl of basic 4. Then a fried chicken wing and some Chinese chicken fingers. Then my chia pudding.

I think that’s all I will eat for today.
 
I went for my hike 4.3 miles around the lake.

I also had several chicken nuggets and some fries.
 
Today I’m not motivated to work out this morning. Maybe in the afternoon.

Had banana protein pancakes for breakfast. Was hungry when I woke up!
 
I went to the gym and did 2 hrs on treadmill on an incline. Went too late to go twice today.

I’m fasting the rest of the day. Drinking low cal juices, coffee and tea with almond drink.
 
So back up again. I am at 151.6 lbs. I was hanging out with my sister this weekend.

I had breakfast of my banana protein pancakes.

Not eating anything else for the day!!!

So 11 more days left till the end of the month. I would like to lose at least 3 more pounds.

Today I’m fasting until dinner. Then I’ll have one rib (maybe) and a little potato salad.

I’m going for a walk around the lake later with my sister.
 
Hey, I have been reading through your diary. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you have moments where you're kind of hard on yourself. And that you maybe try to over correct by not eating a meal or two. Does that sound right? Or am I off-base?
 
Kind of Marc. I’m trying to do IF or OMAD. Some days I’m fine. But you are right I am hard on myself because I feel as if I should not be struggling to lose weight. It is hard.

I think that's something that a lot of people, if not everyone, struggles with. Being too hard yourself is only going to make things harder. I think if you can step out of that moment when you feel like you failed or made a mistake, and ask yourself "am I still on the right track?" "do my couple of missteps define my journey?" etc. Questions like that, that you really have to be actively thinking about, are going to help you manage dealing with those moments of "failure" and help keep you level headed, with your eyes on the prize. Just always be active in thinking about your eating and exercising habits, and you will gain a new perspective on the body, mind and health and fitness.

Trying my best today to reach 147 tomorrow.

I’m eating salads today. If I’m hungry I have steak tips to eat. I had a salad for breakfast with my skinny girl dressing- the poppyseed one
 
I ended up eating garlic bread and rotisserie chicken for dinner.
