I'll leave the nutrition comments to those who've studied it more, like Flyer, but having just Diet Coke doesn't feel like a good move to me. :(
 
Hey Vic, how did it go? I find the IF thing interesting and have followed Flyer's success with it, but I tend to agree with Amy a day with nothing but diet coke doesn't sound good.

You have done so well to have mostly controlled the b/p thing, that is important. Take care of yourself.
 
Today I’m at 133.4 lbs. It’s my birthday. Going out later for dinner. So I’m not eating till then! I’ll be having a drink there too and I want to save my calories.

I have to brine a turkey for Thanksgiving. Gonna fry it!

I like fried turkey, but once spilled some of the oil, it caught on fire and I nearly burned the house down. That was the end of my turkey frying, I am not allowed to any more. Be careful! And have a great thanksgiving!

Thanks guys! Had a great time yesterday. Did great with the eating. Had steak and sweet potatoes. Had a half a tres leche cupcake.

Today at 131.8 lbs. I’m fasting till dinner again today. Seemed easy these past few days. Tomorrow is going to be hard since Thanksgiving will be at lunch.

That’s a new low!!! On an other note. It has been a while since I got my period. I think I’m in peri menopause.
 
Well I don’t think I ate too bad. I did have a glass of sangria. And I had one shot!!! And I had a small slice of pumpkin pie.

NEways right now I’ve begun a 36 hour liquid fast. If I feel dizzy or anything then I will stop it. So it ends on Saturday morning. So I just have to do tomorrow until I fall asleep.
 
How did I miss that new low? Well done you! And it sounds like you've weathered Thanksgiving beautifully, so double congratulations. :)
About the 36-hours liquid fast - well, definitely keep up the liquids, of course, but can some of them be nutritious - like a thin soup, maybe? I'm glad you're going to be keeping an eye on yourself, and monitoring for any averse sign. Best wishes for it to go well!
 
Thanks. I won’t be able to do the fast for that long. My sis invited me to have apps tomorrow since everyone has the day off. So I’ll try not to have breakfast and lunch. I don’t know yet the time. And I can’t say no. It’s fine to get together but I feel pressured to eat and drink. Maybe that’s from me.
 
134.4 lbs after a breakfast of a bacon egg and cheese on a ciabatta from Panera and a chocolate croissant. Also had a hot coffee with creamer. Ate at 6 Am. Then I fell asleep again.

Is "apps" "appetizers"? Or was it the breakfast with ciabatta and croissant? Either way - yes, it's great to get together, and managing the eating and drinking that goes with it can be tricky. Don't be too hard on yourself, though!

I love it when I can do that trick - getting another hour or so's extra real sleep, after morning exertion. I bet you don't get to do it often, so enjoy it today! :)

Today I’m at 135 lbs. I also started a fast last night. It ends tomorrow morning. So I’m just drinking liquids like coffee with creamer, broth, diet soda. Tea. Got a kahlua coffee today.

I got a rash last night. The back of my neck, my upper back, maybe from a new sweater that I had in my closet. So I ended up going to urgent care today. Got a prescription for the rash.

Finally got my instructions for the colonoscopy. But the pharmacy did not have my script for the laxative. So I’m going to have to call on Monday.

It supposed to snow tomorrow afternoon and I think all day on Monday. I am dreading it. I hope not a lot. It’s the first one of the season.

Planning on going to church later.
 
I’m halfway through my fast. So just tonight and go to sleep then I’m all done. Then I’ll do another one starting tomorrow after I eat. 36 hours so not too long. Most of it I’m sleeping so it’s not too hard.
I’ll be fine as long as no one invites me to eat. I’m not expecting anything for this week. Maybe the weekend. And next week I have my prep for the colonoscopy. So I hope I lose 6 lbs!!! By Dec 15. 2 weeks!!!

Which ties in to me having an excuse to not see anyone for 5 days. The medicine that I’m using for my rash lowers my immunity. Can’t be around kids. And all my siblings have kids.

So I have till Wed to hide out. And could do my fasting with no excuses. Only if I feel faint then I’ll have a shrimp salad with veggies. So 2 more fast.

Tomorrow when I get up I’m going to Panera to get my ciabatta egg cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich and a Jamaican me crazy coffee maybe iced.

My burn is getting better. I’ve been applying lotion because it looks dry. I hope my skin comes in brown don’t want to get cancer. I have a month before st Croix.

I’m so curious about my weight tomorrow. I fasted all day. So no b/p and no cravings!!!
