Vic’s Weight Loss

So today is my 10 day challenge to lose some weight. I’m going to eat all my meals so I won’t restrict and binge and then purge. I did not purge this past weekend. So I’m doing great!!! I’m not putting a weight goal. I’ll just try my hardest and see what I can accomplish during this time.

Day 0: 145 lbs

Creamer in coffee: 175 cal
Steel cut oats: 200 cal
Chicken breast with zucchini: 300 cal

Till lunch: 675 cal

I made it to the gym and did an hour on the treadmill on an incline. Did 10% incline at a speed of 3.0 mph. Slow but I made it. Tomorrow I might try to up my incline. Or maybe my speed. -500 cal

I had dinner of pasta and chicken thighs. So about 300 cal. I also had snack of vegetable chips. 150 cal.

1125 cal for day in. 500 out. I’m going to cut out coffee creamer tomorrow and skip the chips.

My RMR is only 1278 cal (if I remember correctly) so I have to eat a lot less than normal to lose weight.
 
Day 1: 142.8 lbs!!! 2 pounds down!!!

Today I’m skipping my early morning McDonald’s coffee with creamer. Going to make my own coffee or drink tea with almond milk. Breakfast is an egg. Lunch is chicken breast and steamed mixed vegetables. Dinner I’m not sure yet. Planning on going to the gym after I’m done watching my mom.
 
So I changed my diet for today. I’m doing IF. Not really hungry. So just drinking coffee and tea with almond milk for breakfast. 50 cal. Lunch is steamed mixed vegetables and chicken breast. 300 cal. Dinner I’m not sure. Maybe rotisserie chicken and brown rice. 350 cal.
 
Yes, alligatorob. I do. I like being under 145 lbs.

I ended up eating a lot at lunch. Dinner will be small. Still planning on going to the gym later. Even though I don’t feel like it. But I need to get into a routine. And if I don’t do it today, tomorrow I might skip too.
 
Having a bigger lunch & a smaller dinner is definitely a good idea. I'm trying to do that too. You seem to be doing really well Vic :)

I had a small subway tuna sandwich for dinner. But then I had a mai tai from 99s. I went for a short walk instead of the gym with my family.
 
Well today I’m fasting. I already skipped breakfast. During lunch I have an appointment so probably won’t eat. Dinner I’m not sure.
 
142.0 lbs!!! 3 lbs down!!!

I forgot what day I was on.

Yesterday I ended up eating a carnita taco.

NEways today I’m fasting for breakfast and lunch. Hopefully!!! Around 2 I start to get hungry.

Breakfast I had an iced coffee with creamer from McDonald’s. It was free so I got it. Now about 930 I’m drinking a Diet Coke. I’m waiting for my brother to get his medicine in Bedford.

Day 2. Hopefully I’m 141 or lower tomorrow. I have to clean my house tomorrow. I have a little break from my mom. So I get to sleep in this weekend or at least till 830 to give my brother his medicine. My mom is doing better. Not 100% and she still wants to leave early September. I can’t leave until I get my crown in until early October. I still think she needs help. Today the OT wants her to cook. She hasn’t cooked since she got sick.
 
BMI is 24.4. My height is 5’4” and weight 142.

I ended up eating lunch. Bulgogi beef, rice, and kimchi. Hopefully will skip dinner!

interesting... as well as intermittent fasting was working for me when i was overweight, the effects tapered off, if not stopped completely once i hit a high normal BMI. i have seen a BMI of 23 a few days, but for about 6 months now, have been more around 24. i would say my current diet is more effective in maintenance, but it would take an effort i just don't have currently to get into the lower normal numbers.

just an observation. on days you fast, or IF, how long are your fasting hours?
 
Well if I fast it’s from 6 pm to 2 pm the next day. But I also would do low calorie for the day.

NE way I had ribs with bread and salad. Hope I stay at 142 lbs tomorrow. That would be great!!!

I also don’t have to get up early which is great. I will probably clean up and put my clothes away. Then I’ll go by my mom. My sis will take of my morning duties!!!
 
I'm glad your sis is also contributing to the daughterly duties & you get a chance to do some of what you need to do for yourself xo
