For Georgen: Gym partners can be detrimental to your success as well. I seen two kids working together on the dip stand. One was doing dips, the other was barely moving. You would think the partner would have mentioned this to him, but nope. You need a good gym partner, and not everyone is.

Yea. There is the whole, finding the RIGHT people thing. :)

Ya I always look for the guy with the biggest biceps.

I have before but for the last two years I havent. However now I am going to be training with a friend, someone who actually doesnt want to work chest shoulders only.

First workout with a partner today. Was really good. It was Power Clean Day. He can outlift me...

Power Clean 3@135, 3@155, 2@155, 2@155, 1@155, 3@135

The two rep sets were a failure on the third rep. The final set I dropped weight down to complete a 3 rep set.

BB BOR 2x6@135, 6@145, 15@95
Neutral Grip Pullup 9, 7, 6
Good Morning 3x8@135
I was using 115 for these.
DB Shrugs 3x10@90
EZ Curl 2x10@55

Great workout for sure. Thursday is deadlift day, oh ****.

Today was a great workout with my training partner, who is trying unsuccessfully to join the site and our challenge.

Here is what we did:

Deadlift 4@275, 1@335, 4@295, 1@340*, 10@245
Superset with rest
Pullup 4@40, 1@60, 4@40,1@70, 10@BW
--I thought I had loaded 295 on the first deadlift set until I went for the second four repper and he pointed out that it was only 275. So that sucks. However 340 is a new PR in the deadlift. 45lbs more to go!!

Oh and he pulled a new max at 395!

Cable Row 3x10@135
DB Row 10@40, 10@45
Incline Curl 1x10@30, 1x8@30

Right now I am currently downloading all of the bonuses that came with the Millionaire Workout book by Ryan Lee. I really spent the 20 bucks for the freebies.

Im preparing a persuasive speech for Tuesday on the need for FDA (or someone) to regulate nutritional supplements. Anyways I came across this site and these photos:

This site is full of good stuff.

A rather interesting and educational link to put it mildly. I feel like barfing.....thinking of the times I had eaten some of the items shown before I wised up a couple of years ago.

Tony you b*stard, I only did the food shopping yesterday and sausages were in there, I was looking forward to those tomorrow, I doubt I'll be able to hold them down now!

Hey Mike they are doing great thanks for asking. Austin is a few months shy of 2 yrs old, can you believe that!! He has a huge vocabulary, strong as hell, and funny as anything. I taught him how to karate kick and do a db snatch from the floor (that was a while ago). Its freaking hilarious.

If anybody is interested in this:

There is a big sale going on with Zach Even-Esh's products. Im going to order the Underground Strength Kit. Glad I waited...:D

Ya he does all kinds of funny stuff. Hes really into Thomas the Tank Engine now so this Saturday we are driving up to CT for a Thomas outing thing. They have a real size Thomas that you ride which should make his day.
