Sundays workout was awesome. If you look at these numbers compared to a week ago, its freaking amazing!! Training with a partner is superior.

Power CLean 4x3@165, 1x2@165
BB BOR 4x6@140, 1x15@110
Good Morning 1x8@135, 2x8@140
ss Pullup 10, 9, 9
DB Shrug 3x10@95
EZ Curl 1x10@60, 1x9@60

Last week I struggled with the power cleans at 155, but this week I tore up 165. Thats the most Ive done with a good morning, and I think there is room for more.

awesome progress man, keep that shizah up!

Bulking must be so easy if you live in the US
American portions sizes are so famous it's actually a tourist attraction for our fat people (it's true, I've heard so many people say they go to the US for the 'proper' sized portions they give)

The 1,000 Kcal Tiramisu sounds good though

that meal is insane

Watch-out for those American portion-size exports, though.

Walking through London, I couldn't help noticing all those Starbucks signs that have cropped up. Soon enough, everyone will be swapping that cuppa for a 500 calorie coffee+sugar+whipped cream+who knows what else beverage...

Nov 1st

Deadlift 4@305, 1@340, 4@305, 1@340, 10@235
ss
Pullup 4@45, 1@70, 4@45, 1@70, 9@BW
Cable Row 3x10@130
Hanging Knee Raise 1x10
1 Arm DB Row 2x10@45
Incline Curl 2x10@30

I was waiting my turn on the cable so I threw in some hanging knee raises. Im putting together a new routine for the two of us. Main problem I keep running into is that he works out 4 days and me only 2. We're gonna go high reps until Thanksgiving, but after that I am kinda stumped.

Today was the start of a 2 week high rep program. It was brutal.

Squat 1x8@185, 1x10@175, 1x10@155
ss
Step Up 1x20@50, 1x20@90

BB Bench 1x10@155, 1x10@135, 1x9@135
ss
Cable Fly 2x20@40

Calf Raise 2x10@225
ss
Elevated Iso Hold 2x45 sec

Tricep pressdown 1x15@40, 1x10@45

The step ups were definitely the toughest part of this workout for sure. My partner gave me some BSN Noxplode blue raspberry flavor and while the taste was ok, I didnt work too well with my stomach. Trying Lemonade on Sunday.

I did see a guy bench 495lbs. I think it was mostly spotter but in any case, 495lbs is still a lot of weight. If only he would deadlift more, I seen him 1rm at 315.

There is some good information in the form of articles.

Definitely agree. I have only seen about 3 forum posts ever. I dont visit the site for the forum. The things I like are articles, strong words, and fitness competitors. :)

There was talk today of some 50x2 days of power cleans and snatch (each its own day). This is probably going to happen sometime in the spring. Oh how fun that will be.

Well I went to South Jersey to visit some friends and check out a friends new house. His wife comes in and says ya we have a damn keg behind the shed out there. They left it here. This was a score for me!! I am going back in a few weeks, we'll drill a hole, drain the rest of the beer, and Ill bring that baby home.

Im freaking stoked!

Yeah I was talking about the forum, I havent ever made a post in there nor am I a member but I liked reading the discussions people were having on the articles. There is little to none of them now.

The articles they are turning out are pretty good as well but the only thing I find with them is that they arent peer reviewed or anything like that so I end up finding scientific studies that often have conflicting ideas, then again the fitness subject is pretty wide and varied.

Afterall no magic formula ay. Nice find on the keg, what is it a 42 L?
