The times are changing: S3tsuna's diary

Ah terrible discovery this morning! The route I take, with the speed I go on my bike. I've only been doing about 15-20mins at a time. Found that out because I went around twice and that was the half an hour. Geeze... I guess I got better with my speed.

I think I'm going to step up the exercise now. Every morning at 5:30am ( because its beautiful and cool then) I will do the full 1/2 hour of biking. Then in the afternoon, I'll do something mildly active. Like dance to some music in my room ( good suggestion Mal ;) ) , Go swimming with friends, or something along those lines. Then in the evening go for a a 1/2 hour walk.

Plus my stretching and push-ups/sit-ups, that should be really good. I feel so motivated lately. Everyone who's not feeling it right now, talk to me... I'm bursting with it! :D

Breakfast:

1 bowl of Special K
1/2 cup of milk

Now I'm drinking some water and going to have a V8 soon. I think around 9, I'll have some green tea. Yum!

Goals for today:

- DO NOT SKIP EVENING WALK!
- Also, this time... if someone calls this afternoon to go do something. I will not say no, if the request involves some activity.
- Drink 60 OZ of water
- Make sure to tell Dad to buy more fruit!!

You are almost halfway to your first goal!!!! You are doing so good. Food looks great, and you're really getting the exercise down pat. You just keep it up!!!!

Wow what a day! :D

Looks like I achieve all my goals for today and then some!

Midmorning snack: 1 pc of toast + green tea

Supper: 1 grilled cheese sandwhich + V8

Exercise: Luckily Andrew called and asked me to go swimming with him and another friend. So we walked there and back and ended up swimming and playing frisbee in the water ( so lots of activity) for an hour. With 15minutes and up for one way. That makes my 1/2 hour walk today!

So I did lots of activity and my treat for the day was a small Iced capp. ;)

Now after awhile, once it cools down a bit and most people are asleep I'm going to go out and try out my rollerblades just outside the house to get a feel for them. Then once I feel confident enough on them. I'll go rollerblading every once in a while to switch up my exercise!

Ah another awesome start to my day! I actually got some sleep last night, and aside from feeling like I'm getting a cold, The morning went beautifully. :D

I woke up at 5:00am, charged my iPod for the half hour it took to eat breakfast and get ready, and then I went biking. It is so nice in the early morning, and not to mention cooler. ^_^ My friend Andrew says he wants to go swimming everyday and since he usually has no one to go with I volunteered to go along, so I will at least be able to do that at least 4 times a week. Which I'm excited for because its a lot of fun AND its good exercise.

Breakfast:

1 cup of special K
1/2 cup of milk
1 pc of toast

Exercise:

1/2 hour bike ride
stretches

Also I might be going to play tennis with two friends in the afternoon depending on when the one gets back from the cellphone place. Since Andrew doesn't have a bike, we will be walking to the beach same as yesterday so thats my 1/2 hour walk as well. Everything seems to be working out alright. ^^

- Do a bit of my summer homework
- Make sure to eat lunch!
- Try and get a bit more fruit servings in more than yesterday

Ok so despite yesterdays good start, I slipped majorly because it started to rain so I cancelled my active plans for the rest of the day and ended up having pizza for lunch AND supper. :eek:

Oh well, brand new day and I think I'm making a good effort to make up for it.

Breakfast:

2/3 cups of Muslix
1/2 cup of milk

Exercise:

25 crunches
25 push ups
50 min. bike ride ( damn... 10 minutes short of an hour :p )

Today's goals:

- Do not let the bad weather get in the way of exercising. Its only an excuse! ( and a bad one at that)
- Eat a ton of veggies today and fruit!
- NO leftover pizza binges
- Do not nap for most of the day, gotta try and get back into normal sleep schedule.

Oh and today, it looked so crappy out when I went biking earlier, but by the time 6:00am rolled around, the sun broke free of the clouds and it was all redish-pink. It was awesome! I'm going to have to bring my camera with me one of these times and show you what I mean when I saw Beautiful.

Today was so great exercise-wise!

After this mornings biking I ended up walking all over the place with two of my friends for 4 1/2 hours! With lots of water and joking around, it was so much fun! Plus I ran into my one friend who has the tennis racquets and the love for it and no one to play with and it looks like I have plans for sunday :D

Not to mention tomorrow I am going to be doing the bike thing as normal and help out with my mom's garage sale. ^_^

Food:

Lunch- 1 heated tea biscuit and buttered
1 small iced capp


Supper:

I small portion of fish
approx.15 fries

Splurge: another small iced capp

Now I'm babysitting the brats while my mom does her yardsale thing, and then after 4pm I'll go swimming ( pending on the weather) and walking.

Ok so at first I couldn't get ahold of my tennis friend so I changed my plans around and ended up going to the beach with brian. So that meant I got 3 hours of walking in today! Also I ran into my tennis friend on my way back home, and so I'm going with her in a few hours to do some tennis anyway.

Which is great! Also tonight, I'm going to go try the whole rollerblading thing again... since I suck... eventually I'll get better, by the end of the summer I demand of myself to be able to do it without feeling all shaky.

Food: Ok, so today I was being all dumb-like and binging.

Lunch:
- BLT pita
- V8

Snack:
- Nachos
- Dr.pepper ( ah! I slipped! :( )

Although with all my exercise today, I don't think all that will do much damage since I've been so good. ^_^
My birthday is in 11 days... I'll be 18, some scary stuff right there. :p

and I totally rock at rollerblading, so I'm very pleased!

Monday mornings are my new sleep-in day. Its 7am, and I haven't gone biking today, and I figure I'll do something different today. So hopefully I'll be able to find someone to go swimming with me and then I'll go rollerblading afterwards.

So today is also my weigh-in day... totally am down to 205! Which means I lost 4 lbs last week despite my little slip ups! This week I want to lose 5 lbs that way I can be at or just below 200 Lbs. which is the lowest I've been for a long time. Wanna look good for my 18th birthday. ;)

Breakfast:

1 cup of Muslix
1/2 cup of milk

Exercise:

Haven't done any yet, but I will. ^_^
 
Snack: Fruit explosion muffin

Exercise:

- I walked about 2 hours worth today
- I swam for an hour with mike and andrew
- I managed to rollerblade for 1/2 hour until the plastic bit started to hurt my one foot.

Lunch:

1 whole wheat bagel toasted and buttered
1 small iced cappiccino

Now I'm just waiting for supper, then I'm all good for today. Tomorrow I might go play tennis. ^_^
