Went out for about 45 min or so on the skates. Skated to the park and around it and back home. Had a good time. Breathing little heavy when I got home. Defintely a change from walking, but it was a nice change.
 
Didn't make my goal again. Is it the shaved ham or the pita pocket or the multigrain chips...:confused: I thought the sunchips would be good because they are multigrain and I thought the pita would be a good change from just bread. Over in cals too so I'm planning to do better today.

Fat - 24%, Carbs - 54%, Protein - 21%

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - ham sandwich, multigrain chips, water
Meal 3 - pb sandwich, milk
Meal 4 - porkchops, sodabread, water
Meal 5 - pb sandwich, milk
 
The chips certainly don't help as they're a 2nd carb source in that meal. I'd also take out one of the pb sandwich/milk meals and replace it with fat free cottage cheese and some almonds. Egg whites might be some good extra protein for breakfast too.
 
Ok that's a help. Let me see what I can come up with. Not sure how much more money I have to go to the store with but I believe I'm good enough to go at least 2 or 3 more times. I'm not sure what I can do with the chips. Probably just feed them to Ash.
 
Well see what you can do about cutting down on the fats and upping your protein first- remember 1g of fat = 9 calories, 1g of carb or protein = about 4...

And as for the chips, I'd not worry too too much about them. If you're staying within your recommended serving size you should be ok.
 
Defintely staying w/in the recommended serving size..so good to go w/that. Just need to play around w/the other food and put what w/what.
 
I made that salsa chicken saturday night.. sooooo good! I even topped it off with a couple sliced jalepenos from my mom's garden.. spicy, but i loved it! Thanks for sharing! I'll def be checking out more recipes on that site! :D
 
Today turned out to be spending sometime w/my aunt. I went over to their house to drop off couple things and she treated me to lunch. We went to McD's, but don't freak out on me since I'm trying to figure my food out. I didn't want to blow it so all I had was fruit n walnut snack size. It had grapes, apple slices, yogurt and almonds. There is a new (not so new) coffee shop uptown so I did cheat and get some coffee. MMMM...it was good. I can't put the coffee in my fitday because I have no clue what's all in it, but I did use fatfree milk...:D Also bought a t-shirt too. All in all, I don't think I did really bad.

My bf loves PB and always buys these crap granola bars with HFCS and everything else. Hopefully I cen get him eating these instead although i can just see myself spending hours on end in the kitchen now lol. :D
 
Yup those granola bars are good eating - I treat myself to them every so often. Please post a review on the recipe if you end up making it.
 
I liked those granola bars but I had trouble with them sticking together but I think I cut them too early, so next time I make them, I need to wait little longer next time before I cut them.
 
Yesterday I did 2 loads of laundry, swept the living room, cleaned the kitchen, swept the floor in there. Today when I got home I reswept the floors, cleaned the bathroom, swept the floor in there, swept the floor in the laundry room. I still need to put some laundry away. I'm sure if I look around the house there's probably more stuff needs to be done. Just don't want to think about it right now...:D
 
Used the wrong sauce for the chicken. Instead of sweet and sour I used soy sauce and it came out really really strong, but still edible. Next time I'll pick up the right sauce and try it again.
 
Remade the Stingo's famous pb granola bars again. They are in the oven as I speak and it smells so good. I love the smell of pb cooking...:D
