I only have one question tho. How come you don't have any carbs post workout? actually, you are VERY low carb. Do you do better that way?

Really don't know. I usually just eat the eggs, but I'm up for new ideas. I really can't think of/don't know what to have. I just stick to the same ol same ol. Any ideas would be appreciated.
 
I'd say try a fruit smoothie for breakfast - I'm sure recipezaar has any number of recipes. Great to beat the heat and tasty too.
 
Oh yea..hummus kicks butt. I like it. I didn't think I would, but you'll be surprised what you'll like.

I ended up doing 2 loads of laundry yesterday and I have one load in there now. I need to get the house picked up since Greene is coming home today, but not sure when, so it's sweeping and putting up laundry.

I woke up late for me since Ash doesn't have to go to daycare this week, so didn't get the workout tape in like I planned. It's spose to be another hot one, so not sure if I wanna go outside for cardio or not.

Weight - 185..not coming off as fast as last week, but it's coming off.

Guess I'm gonna have to find some smoothie reciepes now.:D That would be good for a postworkout.

Got everything done xcept the dishes. Laid down for a nap but now I have a headache.:(

Supper smell so good. It's a roast, green beans and potatos in the crockpot. Not sure what to have with it. Depending on what time Greene comes home, I might make corn or vegetables. I don't know. Itsmells so good, I ate string cheese and pretzels for a snack. I just had to have something.

I took my headache pills so hopefully they'll kick in soon. I'll post what I ate later.
 
My food intake was pretty good, I think.

Breakfast - milk(120), oatmeal(120), banana(100) = 340

Lunch - 1/3 cup tuna(240), 1/2 whole wheat pita(100), 21 pretzels(110) = 450

Snack - 21 pretzels(110), string cheese(70) = 180

Supper - roast w/potato and green beans(325), corn cob(100), 1 tbsp butter(60) = 485

Snack - 10 homemade chips = 110

Total = 1565

I wanted Greene to try the chips so I took advantage of the opportunity to have some.
 
Had to change my workout routine because one of them gave me a back ache, so I added the ab crunch and left out the upper row.

Went swimming for about hr or so at Greene's mom and dad's house. The water felt so good in this hot weather.

While I was getting the stuff to make the smoothies, I came across ff carmel pecan crunch ice cream. I had to get some, so this is my test to myself. The other snacks in the house I don't want, but this I wanted. This is my treat to myself, only once a week to I get this. 1/2 cup is 100 calories.
 
Its good to have those somewhat "guiltless pleasures" She, plus you are doing so great! Way to go on that loss! Smoothies ARE yummy, just don't add any unnecessary sugar :) I know that since adding more carbs before and after my workouts not only are my workouts going better but I'm recovering faster and I feel like its making a difference in body fat. I don't know if thats myth or what but I do feel leaner since upping them a tad more around my workouts. Mostly I mentioned it because I know without them after workout its harder to fully recover the for the next day.
At any rate your find on the ice cream sounds DELISH. yummm!
 
Thanks woman..come over and a share a bowl of ice cream with me. We'll both treat ourselves.

As for the smoothies, I just follow the receipe and don't put anything else in it. I usually put the usual yogurt and milk in it plus whatever fruit I want.
 
I'm so tired tonight and my back still hurts, so this is my food intake and I'm probably going to bed.

Preworkout - 2 scoopys whey(100), .5 milk(60) = 160

Postworkout - 4oz chicken(125), 1/3 cup veg(17), .5 cottage cheese(90) = 232

Lunch - 2oz spaghetti(200), cup sauce(80), whole wheat toast(40), .5 tbsp butter(30) = 350

Snack - smoothie = 0, so the receipe says

Supper - 4oz chicken(125), 2tbsp bbq sauce(45), potato(150), 2tbsp butter(60) = 380

Snack - 21 pretzels(110), 2 tbsp pb(180) = 290

Total = 1412

Little low on calories, but I think I'll be alright.
 
I would think that too. Oh well, next time I make one, I'll actually count the calories. I can't seem to figure out how they got 0 calories, the banana, yogurt, and graham crackers would have some.
