The Tattooed Lady

I feel like we all need an electronic group hug now!:)

Went out crusing last night so here's my food intake.

Breakfast - biscuit (100 calories), .5 cup gravy (272 calories) = 372

Snack - 1 scoop soy protein (170 calories), 1 cup milk (120 calories) = 290

Supper - .5 cup peppers (25 calories), 1 polish sausage (170 calories), 1 cup rice (320) = 515

Grand total = 1177

Low calories but hardly didn't eat because of breakfast. Pretty much full all day.

Another Protein Bar receipe

This one actually turned out in bars and not balls:D

I forgot to add the cinammon in the mixture, so I added it on top w/the sugar. The original reciepe had:

11g fat (good monounsaturated fats)
26g carbs
21g protein
285 calories (for 8 bars)

My receipe only had *240 calories (for 8 bars). Actually my 8 bars probably came out closer to 16 because I can't cut for s@#*.

*Milk - 120
Powder - 680
Oats - 400
Peanut Butter - 720
Grand total 1920

Another protein bar receipe (maybe this time they won't be balls, but you never know). Actually they are for bulking, but I'll eat them as a snack or pre-workout snack.

Ingredients:
3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter (it called for natural, but I didn't use it)
1 cup milk
4 scoops protein powder
dash of cinnamon

Mix until sticky batter is formed. Spoon mixture into the bottom of pam sprayed glass or metal cooking tray.Top with 4-8 packets of splenda (I used the pink stuff). Put in fridge overnight and cut.

Will have all the stats for you tomorrow.

Ok I'm gonna be the dumb guy here... is the oatmeal cooked or not? And I'm guessing the tray's covered when you put it in the fridge.

The oatmeal is uncooked and no it's not covered, but the other bars are covered. Oh yes, Greene said next time I make more, put it on a cookie sheet and wax paper. I used a glass 13x9 dish and no wax paper.

mmm..sounds good I like bars...and balls....ha! I mean I like to eat snack bars or whatever!! LOL !! I"ll shutup now. :)

Welp sounds real good I make these 'KIX krispy treats' and put in buttery spray instead of butter and then minimal marshmallows and the ones with no trans fat o' course. Then put like , almond slivers , coconut shred, apple pie spices lol , and anything else healthy I can find...sometimes I put real chocolate morsels in there??? I know BAD BAD BAD !! w/e .. its good when you know you're gonna go be active or sumthin that day lol . So then when you make em like the treats ya know . you can add food coloring a little bit (i like to make them swirly with BLUE and GREEN!) and then sprinkle sprinkle sprinkle with splenda or equal and oh MAN!!! ah*hem..but last time I made 'em...I ate the WHOLE BATCH ...bad Jaymie! BAD! But oh was it GOOD...that was my little 'cheat' or whatever that week. I'm getting some self control tho.

I got some SF and FF strawberry ice cream it was NEW ,. I had to try it ! So i got it and it was good but not great or anything . :p
Then after having a cup and half of it...I read the back and it said..

"excessive consumption of this product may have a laxative effect on sensitive individuals"...

so I'm like....oh no...

that was yesterday....TODAY, the potty is my best friend LOL. So if you get clogged..have some laxative ice cream i.e sugar free fat free beat to hell-processed pseudo-ice cream!!!! LMFAO !!! But its really good tho if you eat it before it gets melty..then it kinda tastes like a cardboard box..but that also might be because it came in like...a box..

okay, well hope some of this made you laugh! I gotta go get to work now! Take care!

-Jaymie :)

OMG LMFAO!!! I need to find some of that ice cream, so when I'm upset w/Greene I can get back at him:D . Actually, I would really like to try some. Olestra ice cream, who would have thought:confused:

Thanks for the laugh and have a good day or try to anyway.

I tried a protein bar the other day...gross. It was chocolate and peanut butter....and gross. Perhaps I would like a different flavor....

Jaymie: LMAO...that ice cream story was funny...:D

Wendy...try making your own. Some of the protein bars out there aren't the greatest.

Jaymie...still laughing over the ice cream.

Since I didn't do any workout at all over the weekend, I did it tonight while Greene was at work. I kindof switched it around a little bit. I did LPD, AP, UR instead of AP, LPD, UR. I also tried to switch the weight around. I started at the lowest or 2nd lowest and went up from there. Some of the reps I did, I didn't change the weight. Don't think it did much good. The machine we have jumps weight so much, I never know at what weight I can do. Trial and error I guess.

LPD
46x11
59x11
59x9

AP
40x13
59x8
79x2

UR
49x12
49x7
49x8

Food:

Breakfast - .5 cereal (85 calories), milk (60 calories), banana (100 calories), boiled egg (85 calories),protein bar (240 calories) = 570

Didn't like the cereal so ate only half, was still hungry, so I had a protein bar. That's why breakfast was so heavy.

Lunch - .5 chicken (63 calories), 1 tortillia (50 calories), .25 cheese (110 calories), .5 cottage cheese = 353

Supper - same as lunch but used slice of jalapeno cheese instead of shredded cheese (90 calories/1 slice) = 333

Snack - .25 raisins (130 calories), 2 tbsp pb (180 calories) = 310

Grand total = 1566

The other bars are covered? Is there more than one layer?

Haven't made anymore lately. Need to eat up the other bars first. They are always one layer. Not sure if I'll cover them, but probably would be a good idea so they won't dry out.

Hey girl!

Well, hope your day goes really good :)

take care!
