You should hear the Irish songs that my daughter sings. Not that bad, "All for me Grog" "Whiskey You're the Devil" and the like, but my friend's daughter is the same age and sings some of the Irish songs at school. Three years in a row he got the same speech from three different teachers. "I won't believe what I hear about your home if you don't believe what you hear about my class." We now have a rule that you don't sing any Irish songs at school.

Have you ever listened to The High Kings? My current favorite group. I would love to see them in concert.

There used to be an annual party called Men Without Pants. The idea was all men had to come in a kilt, and there was a line of "checkers" so see that there was no pants underneath. Fun party! I heard that it's canceled this year.

I like what I heard so far. I enjoy that kind of folky (we say deedlie-deedlie) music. I like the bawdy songs a lot and some of the rebel songs. The band that I play with does the whole gambit, but we're strictly acoustic, so none of the heavy stuff, except for fun.

All of those songs on the Kings' page are on their CD, which came out in Feb. There are some other really good songs on the CD - The Parting Glass, Little Beggarman, Wild Rover.
