I Am Up For The Challenge

Hello everybody! :) I am new here! So please help me. I haven't learned how to move around much on here.....:confused: I am going to continue to try.....Since this is an active area I guess..if you don't mind me posting something here...First, I am up for the MAY challenge. I don't have a scale but the last time I weighed I was 254 lbs :( I gained 15 lbs by being inactive...That is all about to change though thank God! I wanted to know where can I find a good scale that can calculate body fat as well...Does anybody know where I can find one?...Also I need some help with putting meals and snacks together...I am trying to lose as much as I can before 9/27/07, 10/06/07, 10/27/07, and 12/14/07. I cannot and will not be like this anymore. I get tired of lugging fat around. As I stated earlier the last time I weighed I was at 254 lbs. I will be able to weigh myself again May 8th. I hope that everyone reaches their goal!

1st week = 1.5 is nice, 2 pounds would have been GREAT, but I’m not complaining, all smiles here.
I'm so close to my first long term target of 13 Stone. I’m just 4.5 pounds away, so this challenge is giving me hope that I’ll be seeing the 12 stone area for next months challenge.

2nd week = There's a nice two and a half pounds down this week. I am two pounds away from my long term target of 13 stone, which makes me VERYhappy because for me I'm out of the woods. So, yeah, the next 4 pounds down and I’ll not be 'obese' just 'overweight', making me feel I have significantly improved my health :D

3rd week= keeeping it up but need to get moving more\!

Been away, sorry. Here's my weight update. I've actually started exercising and don't really have a taste for sweets so it's been eliminated this week and look, it worked.. Hopefully my weight will continue to spiral downwards.. I can actually feel the difference, especially in my bra size. blah!

I only lost one pound this week but in all fairness, I was kind of slacking. It's better than nothing.

04 May= 172...not to fear..I've been eating well and going to the gym but I think the extra weight training wont help in weight loss so I'll judge by how I feel :) Been drinking more water too so next week should be better!

I said I was in for the march challenge, then... dropped out. April, didn't even attempt. BUT not this time! I give full permission to everyone to give me a good kick if I slack off.

Yipee...I was really scared to weigh in this week. I hurt my back and therefore wasn't able to go to kickboxing, but i tried to make the most out of it so I watched what i ate and walked here and there. I hope everyone else is doing great also.:)

Well try counting the calories you are taking in everyday...just to see if you are eating too little. You really should eat more than 1200 calories a day, especially if you are feeling tired. Also, you need to eat throughout the day. Are you not eating anything until 5pm? Your body needs fuel to function...its never going to get going if you dont give it something to work with. I would suggest taking vitamins, especially if you are feeling tired. Probably just a multi-vitamin would work fine.

Okay, a very bad start to the chalenge. Had two birthday parties this weekend with obviously too much birthday cake and too much alcohol. Definitely a bummer, my first weight gain since I started:
