The inner being can make the outer being that much stronger. The mental and spirit WITHIN oneself.........drives the outside mechanics. This by itself can make one reach inside and pullout more than they think they can achieve.
An example is a boxer in the 12th round, knocked down 3 times, tired, and seemingly out of it, and something in him comes out, and he wakes up, and wins the round, and the fight................

Beauty within beholds beauty on the outside, and this comes in many forms, and is not just limited to the illusional physical appearance.

Chillen's body is too dang efficient for its own good (Ill share the thoughts on that later to obtain some advice)

Even if high defict (300 from MT), my squat is sky rocketing!

I did a personal best 250lbs 6 reps full squat. I weigh a mere 153lbs (this mornings weigh, and I normally increase about 5lbs during day or 158lbs, which is quite normal)............ it was an @ss buster,,,,,,,but I did it....LOL

Though I am an elf, I cant be put on a shelf; because I felt, ROCK THE HELL ON with my little ass self! :) (poking fun at my 5 foot 7 inch dwarf @ss!) :)

To be completely honest, I am scared. I dont want lose the ab definition, so I am working on this slow, but thus far, I havent found the optimum point yet.

I have been doing the zig zag, and making adjustement(from 5d--2s, to 4d--3s, to 3d--4s, with s (surplus) being about +450 over), but my fricken body is adjusting right along with it, and Im getting leaner........I just have to adjust some more........but a bit frustrating nonetheless (in gaining more muscle, and good weight, without adding fat----this isnt impossible, but it is difficult to do which may make seem like its impossible).

One would think my metabolism would have lowered to the caloric intake (since in deficit for the past few months) but it hasnt, its an efficient Bast@rd. (LOL)---not complaining as much as the aforementioned statement is a joke.

I just have to keep adjusting, Until I find the point I am looking for. Im going through a simular phase as when I was trying to lose wgt (finding my MT line or pinpointing it as accurately as possible, and backing off 300 or so, and making adjustments if they were in correct, and now I know it). Im just doing it on the other side of the fence now, but admittingly, reluctant, scared, and unsure.......but working on it.......

The bottom line is: Im just not eating enough, and have to adjust the surplus days (add a bit more) while adjusting the deficit, and so on and so forth.

Yeah we may love on one another a bit, but we have the charactor to get away with it. (hahahaha should be good out of context)

you see- this is grind on the body and nutrition dynamics and report back. A bit different than 'googling' for info. But, without the educated ones, we would experience alot more infury (or at least I would).

I will post 2morrow and make up for today and do a double day post. Between training and work its been taxing the last few days (but it has nothing, nothing, I can handle),,,,,,,,,,,will be sometime after 3pm Monday.

ALL OF YOU have in you to bring forth anything you want. Keep trying and never give up, never.

Hey man, great work with the log, it's been a real help while giving up smoking. I like the way you've taken a bit of a stand against self pity and tried to tell people that everything's in their own power if they want it enough!

Yes, I dont advocate self pity in the sense and circumference of the negative stimulants it can cause one, I advocate a push-positive approach. Self-Pity has its place dependent on the circumstances (ie serious medical injury, etc), but when there is a CHOICE in reference to food and whether to train, and one chooses negative paths, knowing its going to bring a negative result---in advance, they have no choice but to accept the consequences, and THIS I dont have pity for--or lin like circumstances. Instead, using a push positive: okay, you messed up, put it behind you, suck it up, and move the hell on, and change things now (as an example).

Self pity has a tendency to be like a shovel, one can dig it deeper to produce a small and then larger hole in ones self if there not careful. In general, in healthy persons, when their is CHOICE in involved, I dont like self pity it sometimes IS NOT ONES ALLY or FRIEND---to a point.

How is your quit smoking coming along?

Im at work at the moment, worked last night 12,(trained before), slept 6 (rode cycle), and back to work this morning........STILL SMILING! LOL

That's gone well so far, no slip ups and I'm starting to take myself off the patches by wearing them for shorter periods each day.

The biggest problem I have now is upping my calories again (I'm gonna have to go above 4,000 a day) because my weight gain is stalling and lifts aren't improving much.
I'm at that point where I've hit and surpassed all my old goals so I've been drifting along without any new targets. I have to sit myself down, work out a new goal and plan to get there and then find the motivation to do what it takes!

I'll probably post progress pics soon along with the new goals

Things are going great with me Chillen!! Thanks for asking:) I feel the best I think I have ever felt. Tons more energy, looking better/healthier and most of all I'm super duper happy!! lol thanks for the rep points too :) I am going to give you rep+ as well because I think the fact you take time and energy out of your day to offer encouraging and motivating words to people you have never met is amazing and shows a great deal of character. I thank you for that more than you know.
