Trips is short for Triple H Wolvie
These are all wrestling terms for how it is in the business...
I use a lot of business terms when I talk about pro wrestling, I'll explain em here.
Heel - bad guy
Face (or babyface) - good guy
Being over - means being over with the fans, being over means they believe your gimmick and either love you (or hate you). When I say Cena is way over, means the fans love him, and they wouldn't take too kindly to him losing the belt at mania.
Doing the job or jobbing - means losing to an opponent. All matches have scripted finishes, and the one who loses is said to have jobbed to so and so... When wrestlers are just starting out and they are made to lose to more popular wrestlers in order to "pay their dues" normally they're called jobbers. You may remember when Al Snow was wrestling in the WWE after ECW, he would wear a t shirt that said "job squad" and on the back it said "pin me and pay me"
The strap - the belt... Losing the belt is often referred to "dropping the strap"
kayfabe... now I have no clue how this word came about, but it means the scripting, writing and story lines... When a wrestler breaks character in a show and does something against scripting and storylines its called breaking kayfabe... Normally its very taboo to do this and is met with swift punishment, although sometimes (like when Owen Hart passed away) its accepted. The last known issue of this happening was Bob "hardcore" Holly beating the hell out of Renee Dupree in a match because Dupree recieved a speeding ticket in a rental car that was in Holly's name.
Screwjob - when a wrestler loses a match or a victory is taken away due to cheating of some kind.. most screwjobs are scripted, some are not. The Montreal Screwjob was the most famous one in history. I won't describe it here, theres plenty on this on the internet.
