I fully admit to weighing myself everyday. My weight only fluctuates by about a pound a day, so it's easy to see progress or not. My weigh in this Monday sucked but was not unexpected since I weighed 199.3 every day except for one that entire week. I am happy to report that I am 197.5 today though. Next week will be a good weigh in!
 
And what was it called the weekend before that dear? ;)

I'm with ali on this one, babe. 40 lbs ago, I went down the very same road you are starting on. It was right around the time when I started feeling really good about myself and started to like what I saw in the mirror. Yes, you have been doing great exercises and that will slow down the inevitable considerably. But if you get used to slacking, it only gets worse. Then it is much harder to pull yourself together and get back on track. We're not saying not to have fun. You've worked hard and you definitely deserve to have your fun. Moderation really is a good word for today. :D

Can't you guys see that Mathew is still working out, still mostly watching what he eats, and (oh, yeah) still losing weight.

Maybe it's the not drinking??? Or the working my damn ass off at the gym.
This morning I was 140.2 lbs!! effin-eh!!!
 
Nicely done adeon. The not-drinking will do wonders. Not that drinking is so bad for you, but rarely do we consume alcohol with the sensibility that we consume our food. We take great care to eat proper portions all week then we go out and start ordering pitchers of beer -- no glasses, thanks, just a funnel. Then we wonder why after eating well all week we still didn't lose weight!
 
Morning guys and gals. I cant believe it but Ive held the 191 for two days in a row now. Im stoked. Maybe I can be in the 80s next monday.

Wish me luck today- 2 parties to attend today. WIll stay away from the salads, except the garden. Hope there will be lots of fruit and fresh veggies to munch on.

Weighed in at 174.0 Two workout's on the NT and a few walks this week must have helped. Hope to be under 174 at weighin on monday.

I'm hoping to post a maintenance if not a loss. I've been up at school with friends for the weekend and i drank a bit last night and i don't have many food options, but I'm trying to watch my calorie intake and aside from last nights bar escapades, I'm doing good.
 
Well, I know I'm posting a small gain. But I also know that I worked really hard and WILL be reporting a loss next week!
 
June 1: 192.5 (27.8%)
June 9: 188.4 (26.5%)
June 16: 186.6 (26.0%)
June 23: 185.7 (25.3%)

Lost: 6.8 (2.5%)

I hate to post that fat loss because of a few false (REALLY) low days which really brought the average down. As I mentioned earlier my diet was right f'd last week. Better this week but still playing with it to get it where I want which led to some higher days than I wanted. So until I get that figured out I guess I'll be looking at more fluctuations. If I had to put money on an actual value I'd say I'm in the upper 25.x%... pushing 26% still.

Oh well. One more week to go! Hope your parties worked out alright, Yarm. Anke, you never know! Be positive! :D And Matt, can't wait to see your numbers this week... hoping for see some 180something, bud.

Hehe, thank Darwin, but that was just realism :) I only weigh on Tuesdays and last week Tuesday I had gained 1.3 pounds (I use that weight for my challenges' weigh ins, no matter what day they are.) So ye, maybe it makes the contests a bit messed up, but there's no way I'm weighing in more than once a week :) (no offense to anyone who finds daily weigh ins help them!)

I actually find out tomorrow night if this past week of "back-on-track" -ness and hard work has paid off. At least 1 pound down, that's all I need (more would be fabulous!)

June 1: 194.5
June 9: 193.1 (1.4 pounds lost so far)
June 16: 191.8 (1.3 pounds gone!)
June 23: 193.1 (1.3 pounds back!!) - mostly muscle (holds thumbs)
June 30: Expecting good things...

Worked hard this week on getting it all back in gear. I had two (yes two) barbecues yesterday. Food and beer shoved at me from every angle and I stayed strong. I'm glad this morning. I'm going to kick some ass this next week. :hurray:
