Well still +2.2 from the first week... I wish I had my new scale at that point. Pretty much makes everything else unofficial and shit.

On a good note... down 2.4 from last weigh in. Despite My terrible weekend and giving into drinking.

Gotta really push this week. I want to see the 130's by friday!!! (OFFICIALLY)

A little update. I went to go mountain biking this morning, but just as I got to the trail it started to rain. I don't mind riding in the rain, but riding on the trail when it's wet will erode the trail so they ask that you don't. So, I turned around and went home. Stopped off at the store to see if they had some work out short that fit me better, and just for shits and giggles decided to try on some smaller sized pants. I tried of a pair of 32 jeans and cargo pants. The jeans were just too tight around the thighs, but actually ok around the waist. The cargo pants fit great, but I really don't need or want them. Just wanted to try them on. I did get a pair of 32 waist shorts, though. Not work out, but shorts to hang out in. 32's. I don't know if I've worn 32's since high school, and even then I don't think so. They are just slightly tight, but not that anyone would notice. They will be fine by next week, though.

didn't get a work out in, but I'll try to go this afternoon.

Awesome, Trops. Nice numbers and congrats on the NSV. I've not tried on any pants yet. All I know is if I hadn't bought this belt a few weeks back I wouldn't be able to wear a single pair of my pants/shorts (36s and 38s). I'm on the 4th notch of this belt now, too... started on 3. Feels pretty damn good, eh?

Nice going Angela. There's no need to do better. You're doing awesome at a nice, steady and healthy 1 lb/week. Good for you.

Adeon, nice job losing over the week. I wouldn't worry too much about being up from your old scale. If I stepped on 3 different scales I'd get three different weights. It's really important to get that consistency of the same scale, same time, etc. So that said, looks like you kicked some ass this week. Good for you.

Oh man am I bored. I think I'm going to pick up some protein bars after work. Found some 140 cal ones made by GNC. Has anyone ever had them and knows what they taste like??
 
Nice deal on the pants Trops! I finally started using belts again this week. I'm still on the first notch of them, but boy it was kinda nice when I felt my pants were too saggy on Friday!

I'm pretty excited about my loss this week. I nearly had a BAD screw up this weekend though. I knew we were going to be having pizza and wine on Saturday, so I worked out a little extra and watched my calories really carefully the whole day. When the time came, I looked at my left over calories. I used the generic "cheese pizza slice" from my body bugg program since we were getting the pizza from a local joint and not a chain that has nutrition info. So it turned out that I could have 3 pieces and 3 glasses of wine! Wow, I was stoked. In the end, I only had 3 pieces and 2 glasses of wine so I came in a little under for the day. Not bad for a pizza and wine night!

BUT, on Sunday, I was reviewing the nutrition info to see how I did on protein vs. fat (my big issue right now). The program showed that 3 pieces of pizza had 9 grams of fat TOTAL. As in, for all three. I'm trying to keep each of my meals at about 10 grams of fat so I have a good feeling for what that is. There was NO WAY that the pizza had that little amount. As it turns out, the pizza place DID have nutrition info online. So what I thought was a 140 calorie slice was actually a 285 calorie slice with 10 grams of fat EACH! Yikes. So my calories for that day were over 2200. But I had a really light calorie day on Friday, so it evened out. Whew.

The calorie deficit I recorded predicted a loss of 2.6 lbs for the week and I achieved 2.7 lbs. It's nice when the numbers actually add up! My overall loss since starting over in May has been 10 pounds and the calorie deficit predicted 11.4, so I'm pretty well on track despite not losing last week. Yeah!

Ugh... what a sucky month. Letting personal crap get in my way. I'm gonna really try to work my ass off this week to end with a loss.

Jess, you can do it! You're the best ass kicker on here - who else can get us in line with such ease? Use a little of that ass-kicking magic on yourself and you will see a loss! :D I'm rooting for ya! :hurray:

Way to go yarmiah! You've lost almost 2% of your starting weight for the month! I'm just over 2.5% and can hardly believe it. Of course, then there's Matt with over a 3% loss - and after some gains! Show off. :D

not great and not 100% what I was looking for but it got me out of the 220s
i wanted to be down to 215 by saturday but do not see it happeneing.

Brian, next Monday is the 30th and I can see you hitting 215 by then. I think you've broken that plateau.
 
I think I have also Trops but 4 lbs is a stretch right now. When I had more to lose maybe but I am 19 from goal so....

Anyway- although it could be possible because when I am out of town I dont eat as much and can only do cardio in these hotels. It is possible but unlikely.
