Weight-Loss The Blue Team Thread

Weight-Loss
I woke up late this morning and I totally forgot this is the start day. Thankfully all I ate was a bowl of fiber one...so I am still good as far as the no sweets:hurray:. I will go through withdrawal:willy_nilly: this week but it will be good for me.
I had a good loss this past week so I hope I still have a good loss next Friday.

Let's show them what we got team!!
Cathy

No sweets here so far, guys! And I've got 4/8s of my 8 cups of water down!

I hope everyone else is still doing well!

LET'S GO BIG (soon to be little!) BLUE!

HI Blue Team!!

Please wait for Ambalove to join before posting anymore here. It makes it really hard for me every week to find everyone's stats when I have to click through a bunch of pages to find them.

Thank you, and Best wishes for a great challenge!! ~Kimberly

Sorry for the delay, blue team!! I have been crazy busy today. Ah, well. Kept me from finding time to eat anything I wasn't supposed to!

Yeh, You Made It!!!:waving:

I'm sure the reason you were busy was because you were at the gym!:smilielol5:

Hope you had plenty of water today.

Oops, that reminds me, let me get more. Stuck at work here, waiting for system updates. Good thing, no temptations here.

Going home is when it's tempting, especially Friday night and a glass of wine.

I always have 10-12 (8-oz) glasses of water a day, unless I am really sick. I have a liver condition and tend to build up toxins if I drop below 10 glasses.

Just put the glass down and step away from the table, lol.

Hey everyone, glad we are all here now. Hope everyone had a good day today and stayed away from the no-no foods.

I made it to the gym today to get a jump start on the exercise points. I'll be doing the bike in the morning to add on to that.

The toughest part of the bonus this week for me will be to not have my bowl of popcorn each night. I love my popcorn. But I've come up with some alternatives to get me thru the week.

I had so many temptations today. I keep seeing dark chocolate kisses in my kitchen...but I won't have any. I wanted to take the kids out because it is their last real day of winter vacation. We went to Chuck E. Cheese's and I didn't eat ANY pizza which is a HUGE accomplishment. I had my salad...which was a very healthy salad. It is funny how much stuff that I would normally eat that would fall under the junk food category. I really need to increase my fruit/veggie intake. Have a great evening!

im so proud of myself! i took my brother to dunkin donuts and didn't touch anything!!!!!!! normally i'm very tempted by anything sweet! and i made it to the gym for 50 minutes.....i wanted to do more but i had to be back home for something. I'll def. up my gym time starting Sunday as I will be back at school! Anyway let's go blue team! Let's all be good, workout tons, and shed those pounds so none of us go home this week!!!!!!!

HELLO BLUE!

Nice to finally meet you all and I look forward to supporting the team helping BLUE to finish in FIRST!

GO ON THE BULES!!!!

Hello everyone, how are you all??

I think I'm doing great so far, yesterday I met a friend for drinks--I sjipped the wine+ opted for diet Coke! I also did a big gym workout, woohoo. Gonna go for a nice walk now, nothing more strenuous because my legs are sore from 2 days running in a row!

Does anyone else here run for exercise?

So, am I correct in thinking this is how you get points:
1 point per 1lb weight loss
3 points per 30 mins exercise (max 21)
1 extra point for every half hour about 210 mins ex (max 3)
4 points per day of sticking to weekly challenge
Is that everything?

Have a SUPER day!!!!!!

Yep, that sounds about right!

Way to go everybody on passing up the temptations! I haven't had anything "illegal" yet, but considering this is Saturday and I might be going out today with my mother to take care of some pre-going-back-to-school things, I'm going to have to try my hardest to pass up on things that would prevent me from getting the bonus.

I think ya got em down right, myownnbf. I actually copied and pasted the rules on my tracking thread so it will be easier to count the points up at the end of the week.

I'm not much of a runner myself, as I broke my leg a few years back and can't handle the "pounding", but I have a NT that I have been usuing regularly instead. Unfortunately, I have developed a backache the past 3 days and havent been able to work out on it since Wed. I got a walk in yesterday, and will walk again today so I still get the base points for the challenge. I hope it improves because I actually like how I feel when I'm done working out for 30+ minutes on the NT.

As far as this week's bonus . . it could not have come at a better time! I have gotten into a bad habit over the holidays of having a little chocolate almost everyday, and while it dosn't throw me over my caloric intake limit, it is not the healthiest of habits to be forming.

Hang in there gang! We can get thru this week's challenge!
GO BLUE!

Hello Blue Team!!!!!

Hope everyone's having a wonderful day filled with lots of exercise and nutritious foods :). Today's going to be tough for me as I usually take Saturday's off from working out. I'm debating whether to workout or just make up for the time during the week. I really like to have my "day off." We'll see! But I'll def. stay away from the naughty foods! Good luck today everyone! Let's go BLUE!

I love running too. I try and do the treadmill 3 days a week. I'm constantly working on building my endurance and speed. I hope to run in a mini marathon this spring.

This morning I did the bike for an hour and my eating has been right on track. I'm feeling pumped.

I think the blue crew is going to give the other teams a run for their money.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Linseybot3K, wow, you've nearly reached your goal, what will your next goal be? 50 lbs is something to be v.proud of!

Jerome, I'm petrified of getting shin splints! Eek!

Nice to see so many of you enjoy running! My walk today turned into a run halfway through, I couldn't hold myself back...that's three days in a row, woo!

Are you all counting calories, or on any specific diets? I'm doing a home based slightly modified weight watchers!

I'm following Weight Watcher's too. Although I'm a lifetime memeber I'm currently doing it at home until I get back to my goal. Then I'll rejoin the meetings and go for weekly weigh-ins.

Hi Blue Team!
I am doing good today. It is hard to stay away from fast food during the weekends because I am running kids to their activities. So we went to McDonalds and I had a salad. I have such a bad habit of picking up a couple of fries and eating them, but today I stopped myself because I knew I wouldn't get those extra points for the team. I am trying hard to not get booted off "The Biggest Loser Challenge" the first week. Let's win this!
