Tyly!! I wish you'd have said something before now, so I could have made up some of your time for you. I may be able to make up some of it, but certainly not all you are missing.

I've done the capoiera.

The next roadblock is eating a lb of salmon. You two duke it out on that one, cause I DESPISE fish and will not be completing this roadblock for our team.

As for exercising. I'll try to do an extra 30 minutes. Not much, but it's the best I can do for now. I still walk like a pingouin. (Or like my girlfriend says, like the weird aliens and the beggining of The Fifth Element)
 
It cannot be canned salmon, so keep that in mind.

So, how was the capoiera dance?? Did you have enough coordination?

I went for a walk last night and it went very well. I'll try again today, and I might be able to do an extra hour from my 1/3.
 
I just got back from a 1h45min walk. Not easy to walk with stitches in your butt crack :)

Anyway, I managed to do an extra 1h45 min. I hope we get all the exercising needed, because, I don't think I'm going to lose any weight this week...
I ate very carefully and not too much, but the medicine against pain (necessary) keeps me from "evacuating"....anyways...sorry, too much details. Let's just hope it'll be ok!
 
Friday: 30 minutes
Saturday: 40 minutes
Sunday: 40 minutes
Monday: 40 minutes
Tuesday: 1 hour
Wednesday: 40 minutes
Thursday: 30 minutes

Ok, there's the breakdown for my past week. I'm really glad Spring Break will be over, so I can get back to my normal routine. I'm setting my goal for 6 hours and 30 minutes... since I sucked this past week, I will be more than happy to pick up anyone's exercise slack.

Sorry my being away from home hurt us, but hopefully we'll still hang in there!
 
I lost 2.4 lbs! I hope it is enough to offset everything else!

I was wandering in the other team's thread and there is a team who lost 2.1 lbs as a team. So I guess we'll be safe for this week.

Amber, you just saved our butts!

I'm sorry I sucked last week! Spring break is over now, and I'm home... back to kicking butt!

I have already started making up for my crappy last week... I have 2 hours of exercise so far today!

Week 3 Exercise

Friday: 1 hour on the elliptical, 30 minute walk with James, 40 minutes C25K. Total: 2 hours, 10 minutes / 130 minutes

Dumb question...

I just want to make sure I am doing this like everyone else...

I record my Friday weight, but I stop counting exercise minutes on Thursday. In other words today's exercise (Friday) will count towards Week 3's total (see my chart above)...

Is that right? Is that what you guys are doing? Or should today's exercise have counted for this week?

I know, I know... dumb questions...

For easy reference:

Week 3—Rio to Vancouver 18hrs 50min. 6hrs17min per teammate if split evenly, and 9hrs25min would be 50%.

Roadblock: Eat a lb (basically a half a kilo) of salmon (not canned) over the course of the week. Only one person per team has to do this.
 
Yes, Friday's exercise is the start of a new week.

Jerome is eating our salmon (thank god)!

I did extra exercise this week to try to help out for what you could not do, and it may have made the difference in my weight loss. I felt like you guys carried me last week, so I am glad I could repay the favor!
 
So is it a sealed deal that we are still in?!

We got all our exercise in, got the roadblock done and, according to Jerome, have at least one team below us in weight loss. So...as far as I can tell, we are moving on to next week.
