We had a great week girls. Well done. Our combined weight loss for the week was 6.1 lbs and we blew past the exercise needed. I haven't checked on the other teams but I think we should be safe from elimination.

I'm going to start on the salmon today. Will probably spread it out over the course of the week because salmon is a bit hit on points. 6oz. is 7 points. I'll work my magic and finagle my points to work it in there.

Going to hop on the bike and get a start on the exercise for this week.

Awesome! We did well this week! I am about to go on a quick walk to energize my day. And then some yoga probably. I want to get some strength training in as well. My goal this week is to get cardio, strength, and flexibility each and every day. Priti- if you are busy this week I know I can do 40% and if V dose 50% then you will just have to complete 1 hour and 54 minutes. I'd like to aim high for exercise this week anyways.
 
hey ladies sorry my weight loss has been far from stellar! I'm going to attempt to change some things from my diet this week and see if they are holding me back :). I ended up doing another 35 min of the elliptical last night, but I guess it wasn't needed! Brandy, how about you aim for 40% regardless of what I do and I wont tell you how much I'm doing so it'll push you if that's what you need :). My next week is kind of messed up. Starting Monday I work from 6pm-6am. I actually think this may be conducive to working out as I may just go to the gym right after work at 6am and then sleep. We will see how it goes, but I am OFF until Monday, which means I have today through Sunday to get in some solid exercise. But let's just all push to do as much exercise as we can regardless of how much we "have" to! It will help us with the weight loss! Hopefully we are safe this week!
 
Oh and V, thanks for taking this week's roadblock. I'll be honest, if it came down to it I was going to let us lose b/c there is no way I could do it! :)

To kick off the beginning of my day.. I did 10 minutes on the ski machine and 30 minutes of yoga. More will come..but I must go to the store to get a new outfit first. Then when I get back I might do another 20 minutes of yoga- to make it an even hour for today. Tonight my boyfriend and I are going out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant with a friend of ours. THen to the movies, and then for dessert. I will not be caving tonight. I want to feel good about myself. I'm feeling great today.. I just want to keep it up for the rest of the week.
 
WOW great job girls. We did so well. Sorry I haven't been around, it's been a busy weekend, but i did manage 2 hours and 20 minutes of exercise so far. I also had 5oz of salmon last night and will have another 5 tonight. I'll finish off the lb on Monday. It's a good thing I enjoy salmon, lol.

Keep up the great work girls. Oh, and I agree with Priti, let just push ourself to do the most exercise that we can do. It will only help us in the end.

So I suck and only have done 45 min exercise so far. But I promise, it'll be made up for this week with lots of cardio. I am working nights and there is a lot of dead time so I plan do to lots of cardio while at work to kill time :). Stairs, here I come!!!!!!!!!
 
Hi Girls,

Being on vacation I'm busier now then I am during a normal week, lol. I've gotten 3 hours and 20 minutes of exercise in so far. Plan on doing 2 hours today. I also finished the roadblock, ate my pound of salmon. I'm staying away from the scale becasue the day to day fluctuations were driving me crazy. Hoping to show a loss though by the end of the week.

I haven't been the best with exercise so far this week. Actually I only have my hour 55 minutes I think. I am still going to get in between 40 and 50%... I am about to head off for a quick nap to get some energy.... and then I will be going on an evening walk, followed by yoga, strength training, ski machine, dancing, and whatever else I can think of.

I'm aiming for 2 hours today, and at least 3 or 4 tomorrow since I'll have the day off.

Next week I'll be able to get plenty of exercise in. I am going to my mother's house for the weekend (to watch her puppies while she goes away) so between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday... I'll probably get most of the exercise done!

I got a really good day of exercise in today, a total of 3 hours and 20 minutes which brings my weekly total up to 8 hours and 50 minutes, leaving me to get 35 minutes in tomorrow to reach the 50% mark. I hope all the exercise will pay off on the scale as well. Going to weigh myself both tomorrow morning and Friday morning and use whichever is the lower of the 2.

You're giving yourself a tall order Brandy to do so much exericse in such a short period of time. Definitely go for it but don't be disappointed in yourself if you don't complete what you set out to do. We can only do so much.

I sprained my ankle yesterday. I am somehow going to exercise my butt off today. I'm still so motivated...and I'm eating lots of fruits and veggies. I can't walk or run today. But yoga, pilates and strength are still mostly in view. I will reach the 40% mark today!!!! I hope it will show up for the scale tomorrow. TOM made me gain so far this week... I hope tomorrow it will go down even a pound!

Next week's challenge will be hard for me. I don't eat lamb. And I've never had a kiwi. But I think I will be able to eat one a day.

18hrs 5min is the amount of exercise for this next week. I think this weekend will allow me to get half that.
 
I did another 30 minutes on the bike this morning bringing me up to 9 hours and 20 minutes. So that leaves 9 hours and 30 minutes between the 2 of you to complete.

I also weighed myself this morning and will weigh myself again tomorrow morning and use whichever weight is lower. As of this morning I was 129.2, a loss of 2.3 for the week. We'll see if tomorrow turns out any better. I'm not expecting it because we're going out to eat tonight. Only to Applebees which has a Weight Watcher's menu but it could still influence my weigh in tomorrow. But if nothing else I'll have a 2.3 lb loss for us.

Hope you are both having a good week. How's that exercise coming along Brandy?

Oh, I picked up my kiwi for next week's detour. Good think I like kiwi and 1 is zero points so I'm good to go.

Sorry to hear about your ankle Brandy. We were both typing at the same time I think, lol. Do what you can. Don't make it any worse.

Kiwi is pretty good, just make sure they are ripe, soft to the touch like a peach.
 
I just did 20 minutes with my arms. I still am going to do another 20 or 25 with them.

V- I'm sure I'll like kiwi. Thanks for telling me how to know if they are ripe...I wouldn't have known. lol. I'll do what I can today. Its just that I'm not sure how well it will help with weight loss because cardio isn't possible for me today. I think yoga and pilates will be soft enough that my ankle won't be in too much pain... but hard enough to give me a great work out. And I have plenty of DVD's with both of those on them!
 
hey ladies sorry I've been MIA....been super busy with this nights schedule....don't do more than work then sleep! Anyway, you will be hapy to know that I managed a good amount of exercise in the past week. I still have tonight to go but Brandy, please assume this is all just in case we get flooded with traumas. I did 4 hours and 50 min and am down about a pound so far. Unfortunately stupid me eats breakfast an hour b/f I come home so my weight could've been less but oh well! anyway glad to see we're doing well sorry i've been gone!!!!!!!!
