Hi Brandy,

It's so good to hear that you're feeling better. You had us all worried about you. Don't over do it too much on the exercise. Only do what you can. And a .6 loss so far is great. A loss is a loss and you still have a couple of days to add to that.

As of this morning I was down 3lbs for the week. I received a visit from mother nature this afternoon so hopefully that wont screw up my official weigh-in tomorrow or Friday. I'll post whichever is lower. That's what everyone else seems to be doing.

I'm going to go do a little extra workout now, one of my DVD's. I'll see what I'm in the mood for. I already did an hour on the bike earlier. The kids are outside playing so I might as well take advantage of the empty house (and having control of the tv, lol).

I've had my cabbage. I just had it 2 days ago. All at once!! The family made a traditional irish dinner... so boiled cabbage is what I ate. I don't like the corn beef they made. lol.
 
I'm not a fan of corned beef either. That's one thing I don't have a problem passing up on.

I weighed in this morning at 135.2, a 2.1 lb loss. Not bad considering it's that TOM but it is up a little from yesterday. I have to stop weighing myself every day, it can drive you crazy, lol. Maybe by tomorrow it will go back down again. We shall see.

I'm hoping to show a little more of a loss tomorrow but at the very least it'll be 2lbs.

I can most likely get in 50% of the exercise next week as well. We need a total of 16 hours and 45 minutes. So if I do say, 8 hours and 25 minutes, that'll leave 8 hours and 20 minutes for the two of you to split. I looked at the roadblock too and can bang that out tomorrow unless either of you want to do it.

I weighed in this morning at 133.6 woo hoo! A 3.7lb loss for the week. I'm so close to my goal I can smell it.

I'm planning on getting a good jump start on the exercise this week by working out for 2 hours today. I'm taking my gym stuff with me and might go to the gym after work rather then doing the bike today. I just have running around that I have to do which might keep me away from the gym and working out at home instead. It'll all depend on my mood after work. Either way, I'll get a good workout in.

Priti, congrats on your loss this week. You worked hard which wasn't an easy thing to do with the long hours you had to put in this week at the hospital. Keep up the good work.

because being sick this week I only lost .6 pounds. I will be getting plenty of exercise this week. I did finish 80 minutes total this week. Good luck this week teamies!
 
Hey you two, glad we got all our exercise in this week! I noticed on another teams' thread (sneaking around!) that they were posting their exercise and adding them onto each other's for a team total (of course until you reach the max then you can stop). I thought it would be good to do that so we could see where we were at as a team as long as whoever does 50% stops adding to the total whenever they do so (V!!! haha). Anyway, this week's roadlbock/detour doesn't seem too bad....I checked it out finally. I am up for doing that if you guys want me to. Let me know! Go blue crew :)
 
Okay I suck, I only exercised for 30 min but it's 1230 and I have to be at work at 6 tomorrow so I cut it short! I am bringing my gym bag with me so I'll go to my school gym after work. They finally fixed the elliptical in my gym at my apartment but it's super tight now and with a bad hip it doesn't work out well for me! BLAH! Looks like I'll be making more trips to the school gym until this machine loosens up a bit!
 
Alright, so I went to the gym and did 45 min of the elliptical and 30 min of strength training, which leaves me at a total of 1 hour 45 minutes for the challenge (I did 30 min yesterday)

Blue Crew Total: 1 hour 45 minutes


Alright ladies, add your exercise on as you do it to get to our total of 16 hours 45 minutes! Remember, if any of us hits 50% of the total, stop adding it on, so we don't think we've done more than we have! This will be a great way to keep us on track and make sure we're getting in all our exercise! I will definitely be able to get the 5 hours and 35 minutes and push for 6.5 hours just to be safe! I can't really promise more as I have 13.5 hour shifts all next week, which, while they are shorter than my last two weeks, are still exhausting!

I like this idea of keeping a running total of our exercise. It helps us to see exactly where we are at. I've done 4 hours and 10 minutes so far. So our new total is:

Blue Crew Total: 5 hours 55 minutes

I'll remember to stop adding if I get to 50%.

Priti, if you want to do the roadblock that's fine with me. If you find yourself short on time I can always do it but with your busy schedule it might be better for you to get one under your belt. I'm a bit more flexible with my schedule.

Yeah V, I think I'd like to do this roadblock, especially since after this next week I work nights and I'll be sleeping most of the day, so time will be short :). Wow, you've already got so much exercise in! Great job! I guess we can always count on you with the exercise!
 
I just got back from an hour walk so that brings our total to
6 hours and 55 minutes.

I will get a lot more than 10% of the exercise this week. Even though the both of you have already done so much!! Great job!!

Good job on the walk. I have no doubt that you'll be getting more exercise in this week and it will most likely be reflected on the scale. Keep up the good work!

Did another hour on the bike this morning. Our new total is:

7 hours and 55 minutes.
 
Nice job with the exercise V and Brandy! We are going to kick some butt this week (minus my food slip-up this morning, but I'll get on it!)

I just did 50 minutes at my gym: 35 min elliptical and 15 minutes of back ST. I am going to try and go back to my apartment gym later on tonight and do some more strength training with my shoulders or maybe a half hour on the bike. We'll see how good I am. I would like to do more today as I start another busy week tomorrow!

Anyway, enough of my babbling.

New blue crew total minutes: 8 hours and 45 minutes!!!!!!
 
Actually, instead of going to the gym, I may complete the roadblock today. I've watched all seven videos and the last four (I think) are stuff I have to do.....doesn't seem bad, just takes a bit of coordination! At least I get to count that as part of my exercise minutes :).
 
I went on a mini walk today before I went to my father's house. That brings our total to

9 hours

Tomorrow I have the ENTIRE day off. I am going to walk and do strength training all damn day. I'm hoping to get AT LEAST 3 hours in. Sounds good?!
 
Haha Brandy, that's pretty ambitious! Three hours, I don't think I could ever do that in a day! I guess it's good to set such high goals, b/c even if you don't make them, you've still done a really good job! Nice work :)
 
Well.. I have the day off tomorrow from doing much of anything.. so I am going to go around and take some pictures, but I will walk everywhere that I want to go.

Been busy these last couple of days but I've still been getting some exercise in. Did an hour on the bike this morning which brings us to.....

We're definitely kicking some butt on the exercise with 3 days still to go. Great job!
