Yeah...my first thought was "now why couldn't that lb wait until tomorrow to show on my scale"...but I'll take a lb down whenever it comes!!!

I know what you mean!! I'll take a pound down anyway I can get it! I'm down 3.5 pounds since Monday. So that was exciting. Hopefully I will do the same for this challenge!! :D
 
Alright, I'm all motivated now and just thought I'd pop in here and put in my weight before I head out to go biking,swimmin, rollerblading, and playing tennis with friends.


Starting weight for the challenge is: 205 lbsWe can do it guys! :D
 
Last challenge we did a mid-challenge weigh in - since most folks are in the friday scale day club- a weekly weigh in is fine :)

Man....I am hungrier today than normal!!! What gives????

This afternoon, I had already had my afternoon snack (a cucumber), but was waaaaay hungry still. I waited about an hour and was still starving. grrr Anyway...I am smoking a big ole turkey breast and some chicken pieces, so I went and got the chicken breasts out because they were done and had 1/2 a breast with some baked doritos. I feel better now...I guess I just seriously needed some protein. I am only at 728 cals so far today, so I am actually doing really good...I was just worried there for a bit at how hungry I have been all day!
 
Bep! Sorry about being hungry. I have those days. My suggestion is to eat a small helping of something healthy but flavorful. A cuc would totally bore me and just make me want something good that much more. Try healthy tortilla chips and a good organic salsa. Just have like five chips.

The needs of your tastebuds account for 30% of hunger, so it might help.

Chicken is good-- but spice is up a bit so you're not just eating bland stuff.

728 is a good calorie count though! (but to eat more today, of course).

All I have had today is a bran muffin and some X-rays. :(

Guess it's time for lunch. :)

I HATE days like that!

Sometimes it seems like nothing I eat quells the craving for something more. I know that a bacon-double cheesburger would probably do the trick but I am not going there :p
 
Bep... I'm sorry that you're having one of "those days"!! Whenever I am like that I find it best to get as far away from my kitchen as possible!! :) Afterall, we HAVE TO BEAT nemesis!!! :)
 
I ended up doing quite well. I ended up with 1348 cals for the whole day. I seriously just needed that protein. Protein fills my tummy when I have those bad hunger pains like today. ...and when I say hungry, I was not talking munchies...my stomach was growling so hard it hurt and I was starting to feel yucky. I get one of these days every now and then.
