alright! I have been MIA, I need to be kicked around a lil! I have had a bad couple days (sorry team) I am no longer getting married, we broke up (he was cheating) and I have been eating my feelings! I am on track starting now, just feeling kinda worthless, but wedding or not im losing the weight!

wait oops -- is our weigh in not today? the only reason i made hte post about 163 is because i thought our weigh in was todayy haha.. i jumped on the scale before anything else thsi morning. oooops. sorry team. cancel. cancel.

You can weigh in today (Monday) or tomorrow morning (Tuesday) and use whichever number is lower (obviously haha).

Please everyone be sure to enter your points for Week 2 by tomorrow (Tuesday) early afternoon.

If you have no shows again, we will figure out the points based on the percentages or whatever. lovelyladyhumps is great at math and should be able to figure it out accordingly..bless her heart lol.

What are your goals for week 3, and what do you want to do differently from what you did in week 2?



For meeee.... I want to get down to 143 at the end of week 3 and hopefully not be so damn SORE all the time, and this week Im going to try to work out harder when using my exercise ball.

realized I forgot to do this so my goal was to try something new at the gym and I did it today

you know that thing where you stand up on a rack looking thing, rest your arm on the pads and then you lift your feet up to your chest (or the fancy poeple lift them straight out like 90 degrees) well I have always been intimidated by that huge tower but today I went over there and stood up to it---wouldnt you know some guy came up right when I got on it and wanted to chat about the shirt I was wearing, he was nice enough but I was not looking for a chat :smash: anyway I was soo surprised but I did two sets of 5. I think I will regularly try to do this and improve now!!!!

how about to work out 5 days.

It doesnt have to be alot but I think consistency is pretty important. I think that a bit of excercise (even 20 min walk) can up your metabolism for hours so even just doing a bit compared to a ton on 2-3 days would be more beneficial no?

What about something non-exercise related, since we're already doing at least 4 hours. Maybe having those 8 cups of water every day (I know I'm terrible about that), or the proper amount of fiber, or something more nutrition related that wouldn't interfere with personal nutrition goals in the process.

SUCH A GREAT IDEA, GIRLY! I think last week, the bonus made us work out a little more - maybe this week we should focus a little more on our food intake/ diet! I think drinking more water than we usually drink is such a great idea! Or eating an extra serving of vegetables a day or something WOoo. yeah yeah yeah!

I'm seeing my extended family for Vietnamese New Year this weekend. I really want them to know that I have been so dedicated to my weight loss. I NEEED to be at 160 for this weekend! I'm going to do an extra 10 minutes of cardio every time I work out this week. I usually only do 30-40 minutes, so hopefully I can get my cardio up to the 40-60 minute range.

LET'S KICK BUTT GOING INTO WEEK 3, TEAM!

Mmmm candy! And a couple pieces would even fit into my calorie allotment, since I plan ahead for setbacks...

You guys in team titties do that too right? You don't assume a little candy is going to break us because it would break you... right?

Hey friends :). I think the candy was meant as desert for the yummy looking cheese and pepperoni pizza that was delivered to the Team 1 thread by one of your very thoughtful members hehe.

Karl, please post the water challenge specifics in the threads so we can get to our water (how much again??).
 
Okay for the challenge this week... Are we all drinking enough water? I know I don't always pay as much attention to it as I should, particularly where i don't track it against my daily calories. I exercise quite a bit though and I lose a lot from perspiration. This suggestion was originally made by Priti.
So...

Lets all try to drink enough water, every day.

Take this quiz to find your target amount:


Please pay special attention to the last page. In this it assumes that you are eating healthy (we are right?), and water in our food accounts for 20 %.

In my case this comes out to 158 oz minus 20% = 1 gallon (assuming 30 minutes of exercise per day). The last page will give both the total and the corrected water per day.

lets not get too carried away though. Find an amount for your average exercise level and stick to it every day, all week.

well this is a challenge i will pass with flying colors :) i always get plenty of water in my system. so no problem here :)

i am only 1lb down this week..i guess because i was sick and all. but i am overall very proud of myself. now my diet for the next 10 days is going to be a bit specific because my blood tests showed increased values in my liver so its basically eggs, yogurts, soups and crackers for me...and cooked veggies and fruit in moderation. i have to avoid raw food and too many fibers to ease the digestion. but am still going lower on calories so no worries :D

keep up the good work people :D
 
I like this challenge! I drink a ton of water anyways... it is the only thing that quenches my thrist... and honestly, most other drinks MAKE me thirsty. But for the past 2 days I've been drinking sprite zero and vodka to celebrate my boyfriend's big 2-1. lol. ;) Back to water though!!! lol.
 
hey team!!!!!! ready for week 3??????? i am TERRIBLE at drinking my water so this will be a good challenge for me to maybe start doing that for good!!!!!!!

so i baked tons of cookies today b/c all of my friends are obsessed w/ my cookies (secret ingredient of instant pudding mix ;)), and so i had promised id bake em some....you will be very proud to know that without eating ONE i gave them all away..........i did try the dough though just to make sure it was ok :)......im proud of myself!!!!!!
