Hello just checking in... the end of the week was brutal work wise and I am very happy its the weekend.

I was being lazy and didn't put in my food from Thursday on into fitday, but I just got all caught up. I typically like to give myself one day to go over my cals and I thought that would have been yesterday since we did pizza for dinner, but oddly enough I was in cal range and Thursday I was over by 133 cals, so I will remove my points for that day.

Today I'm sitting at about 1100 cals so I have at least 300 that I need to get still.... even though I just had dinner and am planning to jump on the mill here in a few... or do circuit it if Step is willing... or I could go at it alone too....

Anyway, hope everyone had a good week!!
 
Wooohooo....checking in!!! I'm doing the damn thing alright....slowly I feel, cause I know I could harder than I am, but I guess its getting back in the full swing of things again.....I have already completed my exercise for the week as well, though I'm not stopping there of course....:iagree:

...I have been eating great, staying within ranges of low carb, the exercise has been varied, and I feel better about myself already! I have been drinking tons of hot tea, and and soon to be incorporating more regularly the psyllium seeds. The one weakness I have been having though, is Sparks...:cheers2:, though I get the low carb ones 3.8 per drink, but still every now and then is fine, but I know I could waste those carbs on something worthwhile to my body.! .....gotta live a litte though...:reddevil:......

I feel sorry for the "ladies" on both teams that can have such restrictive calorie amounts!!! Just another reason I'm glad to be a man.... I'd go nuts if a tic tac put me over for my calories in a day!!! :D Great job to everyone (both teams) for hittin' the excercise and nutrition so hard!!! :)

There was one desert that we all share as a family, so I didn't count that as going off the diet because I stuck to everything else so well.

been up since about 6 a.m. or 6:30 ...have thought about going on the treadmill for the last 4 hours..havent made it yet :). Going to a bday party for a one year old at 3 pm..so you know what will be there..um yah...cake...I am weighing in tomorrow...so I dont want to eat cake...part of me wishes i could "beg off" with a headache and just not go. I dont want to be rude and not eat...there have been tons of times my hubby has gone to parties and not eaten and sat in a corner, I always thought it looked rude...I always have thought he should take at least a small plate....am I wrong...I dunno...my plan was to walk the treadmill and put a dvd in and watch the entire movie...therefore getting some exercise in before I go...also maybe drinking a huge water and maybe some beef broth. Sometimes for some reason beef broth curbs my appetite......all I know is my #1 goal is NOT to eat a bunch of crap!! Hopefully they will have veggies...etc...I am sure I will be fine...
 
Awesome job at the party Trops! Karebare, I know how you feel. I have dinner plans for Monday night with my very close friend who just moved away to Bermuda and has limited time to see everyone. She squeezed me in all day Sat and Mon night for dinner at this Turkish restaurant we love. OMG the food is so good and I always feel so full when I leave there because we get the different dips with the fresh bread, I barely eat the chicken kebab and rice entre but I still end up gaining after going there. Anyway, I really never go out on a week night as I need to come home and cook dinner for my family and spend time with my daughter. I dont know why I agreed to this lol! But it will blow my week's calories, which are already high but can be saved if I'm good today and tomorrow. I am honestly thinking I have no choice but to cancel lol. How tiring to go out after work, plus the whole calorie thing..I dunno. Totally rude of me though huh? Now I'm thinking I wonder if she has time to meet me for lunch near my job instead.. I could keep that healthy easier..
 
P.S. Doing well with the calories so far (only had 365 today) but still need to get my 45 minutes on the elliptical, then I'll do my last 45 minutes tomorrow at lunch time.
 
Anyway, I really never go out on a week night as I need to come home and cook dinner for my family and spend time with my daughter. How tiring to go out after work,

HAHAHA - Ya know your old when....*Just Teasin* Ever sinc ei started working nights I never go anymore at all...Im always tired and would prefer to stay home and go to bed early and be with my girls! I only go out week night evenings to boot cmap (How Pathetic) LOL!
 
Just watched "Burn After Reading" and walked the treadmill for the whole movie...hour and half...plus halfway through had to go push the kids car out of the snow in the drive..isnt that strength training?

not going to the bday party..hubby got called into work for emergency....

i feel bad cuz i would like to see our friends, but now i dont have to worry about the food...

Been doing good as usual on calories and actually been comming under by at least 100 calories. I've had a good and much needed break this weekend and ready to rock my routine tomorrow. I havent weighed myself all weekend so hopefully i'm still a pound down and Maybe, just maybe a little more. we'll see tomorrow afternoon.
right now were down by a couple hundred points. hopefully when everyone gets their points in we'll come out on top for week 1...

I didn't get to the gym, today, but I did go ice skating for about an hour and a half. I didn't think it was all that big of an exercise till it was over and my legs felt jelly like. :svengo: Eff it, I'm counting it. :biggrinjester:
