What week are we in?

new challenges this week

1. Be an Artiste!! Using a paint program, an online coloring program, colored pens/pencils/crayons and paper (and scan it into the computer) Get one piece of artwork posted in this forum.. No one has less artistic skills than Ido but spend 30 minutes letting your inner picasso, leroy nieman, andy warhol out and run free... let's see something creative

2. Process Free - this weeks challenge is to have no more than one item of processed foods per day for a total of 4 days this week.. That means, if you lean cuisine it for dinner, you gotta go for fresh food for lunch. Give the microwave a rest, put that canned soup away -- cook fresh... loose some sodium for the week

Howdy everyone, I hope everyone had a gr8 weekend! I had a cheatfree weekend YAY!! WOW the fresh foods are going to be hard since I went to the grocery store lastnight and stocked up on my lean cuisines and weight watchers meals,also my oscar meyers turkey and fat free cheese all proscessed proscessed!!!Goodluck everyone. yeah I'm having some trouble with the no processed thing too!

Like today I had a chocolate & thought ...crap this isn't unprocessed really. Ok better than the shrimp & grit raviollis that I had for lunch (they came to the store frozen & they just reheat them....yummy.)

Ah but tomorrow is a whole new day!

lol chochlate is prosessed to??? I am not sure about what is or isn't obviously lunch meat frozen meals are but what about cheerios skim milk special K snack bars spaghetti sauce???Goodluck tammy
 
How is everyone doing this week?

The no processed foods thing is not working out so well for me.... Just not in to the good habits at the moment I guess.

I had a SLICE of blueberry pie with whipped cream last night. Pros... I got a serving of great fruit & I didn't have dinner & dessert, just dessert...which is what I wanted. Cons.. I frickin had pie for dinner, what was I thinking? Argh.
 
lol thats ok moongoddess. I am planning on having pie tonight...possibly pudding as well lol. I am going to this banquet thing and they are only serving bad things lol. I know I could eat beforehand, but once I get there I KNOW I am going to want the yummy things sooo badly, so I am just going to try to keep my calories before then low and then allow myself to cheat. Lol this probably isnt the best idea the night before weighin, but oh well lol, I know if I try to deprive myself I will end up binging.
 
See now I thought yours was better...

& I completely agree, when I get to a "thin" weight.. I want to wear nothing too! :)
 
I do better OFF the computer...

Working in fabric is more my style. Just finished this & waiting to put the backing on it...

So I'm starting to think that the no processed foods thing is impossible.. for me at least.

Today started out ok.

Had my one processed thing for breakfast (a blueberry bagel-plain, toasted) with some water & cranberry juice.

Then for lunch a roasted boneless skinless chicken breast with some Ms Dash on it & a salad (local spring mix, red pepper & some crumbled pecans... dry) & some beans (mix of pinto, black & kidney)...with water.

Was thinking I was doing alright... but I just ate a Fiber One bar without really even thinking much about it.

Absolutely impossible for me.
 
Beautiful quilt. I couldn't figure out how to do any art work on my computer. Last week was just too busy with the funeral to be bothered, plus I don't have access to a computer at home. I was happy with my weight loss last week. Got down to 165. But one bad day and I'm back up to 168. Shit! TOM coming as well, so that doesn't help.

Do we a challenge yet for this week? Is this the last week?

Sorry but I had a hard time with prsecced foods this week since alot of my meals were out to eat or frozen.But I am hoping for a good weigh in fingers are crossed I gained 1 lb for all my bad habbits this week plus being sick and unable to get much exersicing in but heres to a better week,Tammy:)

I can't believe this is the last week. I don't think I am going to reach my goal of 15lbs, but hopefully it will be around 13lbs...we'll see...it was a bad weekend lol. Being a Bikini Babe was definitely fun...I won't be getting into a bikini anytime soon, but I do feel more comfortable with the thought of getting into shorts :)
