Slowly does it, Sunflower.

You guuuuuuys <3 Thank you. LaMa - he lost like 24lbs over the last few months..he has no idea how he did it and looks really good (did get him to get some blood tests as I was convinced he was perishing of some terrible wasting away disease). He is just a lucky chap.

It was like 23 degrees here on the South coast.. not a cloud in the sky!

Petal, I would normally be eating way more than this - I'm trying to keep my calories reaaaaally low for a while to get a chunk of weight off quick;y. If I start losing 1/2 lbs a week I'll become bored and disinterested and will sabotage myself. If I can get into "onderland" quickly I'll keep motivated.

Got my plan for today food wise - will come back and post when I'm about to eat it all so I don't deviate from the plan. Ready for a new working week and feeling positive.

Definitely a good idea to see a doctor when you lose that much weight in a short amount of time and don´t know where it´s gone. But of course with little L to look after, job issues, and family stress there were probably plenty of reasons why things weren´t the way they normally are.

I completely understand this way of thinking, but haven't been able to implement it for many years! It is very satisfying to see the scales moving quickly. Hope onederland is not too far away. Love reading your posts, glad you are back. :)

Thanks Em, hoping onederland is nearby!

Thanks for the love, guys. Still feeling surprisingly motivated this week. Food was good yesterday, although went a liiiiittle off track when Yank went to bed at 21:00. I'm an evening snacker.
We watched Boris fumbling about like a blithering idiot last night for 20 minutes before I became so enraged I just turned it off. Just beggars belief, the whole handling of it. Imagine Sunak will tell the public that they are cutting the furlough scheme today. Makes no difference to us, Yank is entitled to literally no help anyway. Really hope he gets a job soon.. He has some freelance editing starting this week which will contribute his "share" for the household for about 6 weeks but after that...who knows. He is taking care of the baby all day which I well know is a full-time job in itself. Makes me feel I can't push him too hard to look but it's a lot of pressure to have to manage everything on my salary alone.

11th May 2020

Lunch: pasta with fresh tomatoes
Dinner: crackers and soup, chopped carrots
Snacks: packet of skips, gin & tonic, cheese string

Total: 1204
Exercise: 9500 steps.

Got a quiz tonight with the Dungeons and Dragons pals - should be fun. Off to work now!

Also had weird sex dream about Dominic Raab last night. FOR SHAME.
Almost enough to make me vote Tory. (Joke..literally nothing on God's green earth could prompt me to vote Tory. Ever. Ever. EVER.)

:rotflmao: If it makes you feel better I once one about Putin. I felt so gross when I woke up!

Haha I'm roaring laughing . Very funny . Sunflower I was watching BJ too , my god he is a disaster . Seems state alert is the new slogan .
Hope you get sorted with more income. But at the moment it's probably hard to find good childcare and you don't need to worry about your beautiful baby. My May salary is I know going to be slashed and I'm not too excited to see payslip. I fear there will be a riot at work.

Work/Life balance seriously compromised! Alert, Alert! Sorry for going missing (she says, into the ether) but life got alllll crazy. L has started walking! Yank managed to capture a lovely photo of it in the park.

Starting weight 219 lbs at 5'10

Week 1: 215 lbs -4lbs
Week 2:
213 lbs -2lbs
Week 3
: 206lbs -7lbs
Week 4:
204lbs -2lbs

Total Loss: 15lbs

Week 4 finished on Saturday. Wasn't as good a week but 2lbs is a healthy amount to lose and I obviously had my 7lb week the week before which was great.

What a gorgeous picture! You llok amazing. And losing two pounds in a week when things are crazy is heroic in my book.

Wow, that is great, very impressive! I don't think losing more than about 2 lbs a week is sustainable longer term. So you did right well this week.

I agree, great picture, you are looking good!

Omg you don't look anything like your weight says .are you sure your scales are not adding on like about 40lb !!!!! You look amazing .congrats on the little mans first steps . So precious

Oh, hon. You look gorgeous. 15 lbs in a month? Awesome! 2 lbs a week would be good though. Well done little L. What a sweetie :beating:

Thank you guys.

Petal, I know! I don't think I look over 200lbs either..jolly unfair. Scales are unfortunately right, though! I am 5'10 so an Amazonian type gal and I am big boobed and big hipped! Hoping onderland isn't far away..

We have a food shop coming today. Spent £100 and not actually sure what meals I can make out of what we've ordered.. need to be better at meal planning. Last night was just beans on toast and courgette/tomato pasta for lunch. No snacks at all which was good. Struggling to sleep again, need to be better at not going on my phone right before bed. Yank has been trying to help by reading to me (currently nearly finished Dracula) or telling me mysteries which is really fun. Last night he told me about Oak Island in Canada..apparently there is buried treasure there.

I also like the bedtime stories thing, that is great! You must have a good relationship. Not sure about the treasure on Oak Island, but its a good story.

15 lbs in a month is great, but it doesn't fit the Slowly Does it Sunflower thing!
