Really enjoyed being in the office today, felt like normal times again, apart from that there was only 4 of us in out of a team of 25. I went for a walk mid afternoon and lay under a tree and listened to the birds. Was lovely. Feeling very mellow and in charge today.

That all sounds lovely, especially the feeling like normal times part & the good week coming up on the scales & the laying under the tree listening to the birds & the feeling very mellow and in charge too. It all sounds just lovely :beating:
PS & the kind scales.
PPS & being SAINTLY for a few days! :D

Thank you, Cate, Petal and Aim <3

It's L's birthday on Friday so have been wrapping presents. He has been a lucky boy! Got a quiz night on zoom with our Dungeons and Dragons buddies tonight so better shoot xo

That all sounds delicious and healthy but also like very little food for a hardworking mom.

How exciting that it's L's birthday on Friday. Adding a little fruit to your day might be a good idea, H. Maybe a banana and/or an apple. You are a busy woman & that's not a lot of fuel. Hope you have fun with your friends xo

Hi all, I took on board your comments and added some fruit to my diet the last few days. I've had apples, blueberries and banana. I love fruit and usually eat a ton but our food shop wasn't being delivered until the end of the week so we didn't have much in apart from tinned.. The food shop has arrived now so having plenty. I managed to stay at 1200 and under for the week which I was really pleased about. Really wanted to kick start my diet and I did a lot of exercise (walking) the last few days too. As a result the scales have been great and I feel really good.

It was L's first birthday yesterday and we did a long walk, played in the paddling pool, ate cake for breakfast and enjoyed zoom calls with the family in the States and UK family we can't see. Was a strange day but very enjoyable none the less. Last night was "cheat night" and Yank made cheesey, fake hot dog pasta with peas and sweetcorn and I had a glass of wine and some popcorn whilst we watched some Workin' Moms.

Back to a more manageable goal of 1500 this week after a really successful low cal week that I feel has kickstarted me mentally and physically!

Happy Saturday, beautiful people!

What a successful week, with a 7 lb loss. Wow!
Happy 1st birthday, L. At least he wouldn't know it was weird.
You sound really happy again sweets. We just have to do what we can. You have so many balls to juggle & do a great job xoxo

Thanks everyone! :) Your support is helping to keep me on track!

So, Yank has eaten 4/5 of L's birthday cake today.. I am so jealous. I have had a small slice and been very good otherwise! Weather is absolutely boiling here so only managed a little walk but have been cleaning, slugging the slugbaby around and generally flapping around the house so steps are still decent. Wish I could be back in the office again this coming week.. I find it so much easier to be healthier at work.

Boiling weather already? Eek! What is it with most men being able to eat just about anything & not gain weight? Lucky them.
It's Mothers Day morning here in Australia, so a great big Happy Mothers Day to you sweets xoxo

Hey just catching up and saw the down 7 lbs in just one week! That is amazing! I have had only one 7 lb week in the past year, I know how rare that is. Good for you!

Nice that you had a small piece of cake and stayed on track today! Keep up the good work.

I am truly amazed at how you well you are doing . I feel like I eat so much in comparison to you . That’s a super day . I am jealous of your husband too
