Slowly does it, Sunflower.

Hi, Han. Good that they have someone like you sweets in that job. I know I couldn't do it.
I was always starving when I was breast-feeding. It should be a little easier to drop a few lbs when you are not so ravenous.

Hi Han I would say if you healthyand want another baby soon go for it . I spent too much time in life putting off things until I was thin or until kids finished school. You can always eat really healthy while pregnant !!

Thanks guys - yes petal, agree...there's always a reason to wait! Will think about it..Like I said, I need some sleep first!

Busy night at the Soup Kitchen. Did chicken and jacket potatoes with piri piri glazeee. Looked quite nice.

Hey Hanna, good to see you posting again! And for the record, no photo of you looks fat, I know you want to lose weight and it will be good for your health, but I would not call you fat. Me, I used to be quite fat, so I know what fat looks like.

Good luck with the next baby! Sounds like a great plan to me. Keep us informed.

Hanna I don't like halo top ice cream tastes a bit weird I think . Do you like it ?

Soup kitchen food sounds great

I don't mind the Halo Top stuff, Petal. I'm not a big ice cream person so maybe my taste isn't very refined! Fills a snacking hole, anyway.
Thanks everyone. Being a busy bee, as always, and not focusing enough on myself. Eating pretty well though, apart from a minor weekend blip.

Not a bad few days..can see where I'm struggling..alcohol and popcorn/crisps. Although the popcorn I have is 48 cals a bag. I'm nearly out so won't buy more. I need to eat more at breakfast and lunch I think.

Anyway, off to put the tiny gremlin to bed. He is an insane ball of energy and rage today.

Naughty little gremlin. Don't forget to look after yourself, Han. I have to eat more at breakfast & lunch or I am picky at night-time. I can't have crisps in the house. I swear they can talk. "Eat me, eat me..."

What brand popcorn is that Hanna , it's something I could have without overeating . Yes try eat a proper breakfast if you can

Hey aim! How are you doing? Well I hope, will try to get to diaries today.

Petal, it's Propercorn. They do 6 packs for £1 in Tesco at the moment at 48 cals a bag. Love them!

Busy day today, with lots of walking. Drove car to the garage for a new tyre, walked home, then took a walk to the post office to send some cards and letters to family. Trying to get away from my phone a bit so spent an hour writing letters to grandparents, aunts, etc and posted them off. Felt good! And then a walk back to the garage to get my little Matiz. Overall it was 12,000 steps. Listened to my new audiobook the whole way. It's called Untamed and it's quite hippy dippy in a self-help sorta way but enjoyable. Other than that, been at work (working from home this week) and juggling a grouchy toddler.

Yet again it is 15:00 and I've had one bowl of cornflakes all day.. need to be better at making time for food during the day and not bingeing in the evenings. Watched an awful Korean Zombie movie called #alive last night. Think we will watch the new Louis Theroux tonight - I am in love with him. And then maybe the rest of Social Dilemma which has prompted me to delete Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc from my phone.. I checked yesterday how much time on my phone I'd had and it was 3.5 hours. That's really shocking. On about 30 minutes for today, thank God! Feel present for the first time in a while.

Hi Hannah I watched social Dilemma on Sunday and I completely agree with you . I’m not a huge social message user but like you trying to ease off the phone .
how are you not starving after only a bowl of cornflakes today

Glad you’re back Sunflower and making time for yourself as well. It sounds like things have been a bit challenging but I guess that’s been the way for a lot of people this year.

I’ve been on my phone to an alarming degree lately, hooked on this place and Reddit and WhatsApp groups of course. I might take a look at that show! What a lovely thing to do and physically write some letters to people. I’m sure they will be delighted with that.

Hi both - yes, it's just toxic. Managed to do just 90 mins yesterday and that was including myfitnesspal, doing some amazon shopping etc so pleased with that. Never got into Reddit, luckily. Yank is always down a rabbit hole on there!

15th September
Breakfast/Lunch:
cornflakes, slice of toast (332)
Dinner: veggie burger, home-made chips and salad (874)
Snacks: popcorn and a few cashews (75)

Total: 1412

My Grama is really poorly with cancer at the moment and I'm trying to stop emotional eating/drinking in the evening. Had lots of phone calls with family last night discussing carers, etc, and I am going to my parents for 4 nights next week with the baby to spend time with her and offer some help. She's such a force to be reckoned with..horrible to see her so poorly. Such if life, hey. She has lots of love and support from the family.

Not got much on at work today - planning a walk on my lunch break and will take L to the park later if work stays quiet. Yank was up with him at 04:55 this morning.. our boy is up with the birds (or before them!) every morning. Yank must be shattered.. he's gone for a nap with L now so I'm typing quietly. Meeting a friend for a drink and a walk tonight - looking forward to that.

Sorry to hear about your Grama´s ill health. It´s heart-wrenching to see a loved one suffer like that.

Thanks lovely. It's skin cancer as well, LaMa, so it's been hard seeing her appearance be so effected. She takes such pride in the way she looks and is now covered with these lesions and her legs are the size of trunks with fluid. It's really grim. I hope to go in my sleep.. or on an epic adventure and be buried at sea! Not a dignified way for her to finish her time..

That's very hard, about your grandma - for all of you. It sounds like you're being a great support and I'm sure comfort for her and the whole family. (L. being a comfort just by existing!)
