I say, post 'em when you do 'em.

Just a reminder - only log time for things you do that you can't count in pounds or miles.

Tim - that's one heckuva first day. Wow.

Thanks, it's a little more than my normal amount but I changed some things on my weight routine. On the stationary bike I try and keep a steady 20-22MPH. Had to edit my post though, I was counting my weight training and bike time for the hours.

Day 1

Today was made of failure and a lot of naps. Got in a half hour of ddr though.

Got up at 4:45 and went to the gym before work so that is why i already have today's stats in. I actually might run at lunch today but we'll see.

I did two miles of mostly running yesterday but had to walk for a few. It's amazing how quick you lose stamina when you dont run for a while.

So my 4 yo daughter was playing in the yard the other day and did her first few jumps with a jump rope. She finally got the coordination down which was great to see. So while at the gym yesterday they had a jump rope. I decided to see how well i could do. Yeah, not me. I am going to have to practice a little. Hope i can do it long enough to log some hours on this challenge.

Enjoy the day all.

This sounds like great fun. I'm in, even if I'm a little late. I'll post my details tonight :)

Adina

Adina - welcome aboard, and don't worry, this is the sort of thing where you can jump in anytime.

Matt - I understand about the jump rope. I can't figure out how to do it either. :)
I think I may need to go to the schoolground and ask some girls how to do it - but then I might get arrested or something...

I've been getting a slow start to this month. Yesterday was 30 min. on the heavy bag before supper, and 45 min calisthenics before bed.
H - 1:15

My totals so far:

M - 0
P - 0

Back in college when I was in cardio freak mode, I joined the Xcountry team for workouts. Basically, once you get up to your mid season form/peak performance, if you take even 2 weeks off, they say it sets you back far enough that when you start training again, its like you're back at first-workout-of-the-season form.

Tonight will be my first workout of the month. Typically, I workout MWF. Monday was the last day of the month, and I decided to push my Wed workout back to today because I'm unavailable this friday and saturday, so my Friday workout gets pushed back to sunday, and then starting next week I'm shifting to a TuThS schedule because mondays will become unavailable. So all that amounts to me getting off to a slow start for this challenge thing simply due to bad timing :p.

Attention!

After a little thought, and some advice from a more experienced friend, I have decided to change the way we log this.

What we will do is keep a running grand total as we go.

So when you post, with your additions, you will also add to the collective running total and post it at the bottom of your post.

For the time being, everyone hold off for a little while, until I compile the curent toal, and then you can resume posting and adding to it as well.

This way, we can keep a current collective total, and no one has to look back past the previous post.

Okay?

I will update with a total as soon as I add it all up.
