What I learned this month....... My goal can be lowered; as I get closer to my ideal weight I lose slower, and as long as I progress I don't have to be in a huge hurry. Although I went back up and gave myself a hard time about it I did make progress, and If I can maintain progress fluctuations are not so important. I can focus on the fact that I lost 4.5lbs:hurray: rather than focusing on the upward fluctuations. This journal is helpful in that I am able to look back and reflect and be happy that I did progress, and recognize that I am on a journey that I continue without perfection but with persistance.

Weigh in today at 207.1 pounds (94.143 kg)

Down 53 pounds since Jan 2011

Down 46 pounds since March 30, 2011 when I first started seeing dietician for weight loss and nutrition counceling

The last time I was even close to this weight was when I was 209 lbs in Oct 2004

She has been an appsolute God send!

Thank you for reading and your support!

Yes, I agree with you.

I was used to losing 8 pounds when I would do my weigh ins. The last few though, the scale has moved slower. I became discouraged and just though about giving up because it was something I did not expect and did not want the scale to move that slow.

My two largest weight loses at one time where 11 and 13 pounds at one time the first couple months I started and then was avaraging 8, and then now 2-3.

Now I am happy with any loss and no gain. It is a process and many variables play a role.

Thanks
